Olga Martynovna Auguste (1896-1973) was a Soviet-Latvian Politician (Communist). [1]
She served as People's Commissar of State Control between 13 March and 29 April 1941. She was the first female government minister in Latvia.
Latvia, officially the Republic of Latvia is a country in the Baltic region of Northern Europe. It is one of the three Baltic states, along with Estonia to the north and Lithuania to the south. Vaira Vīķe-Freiberga is a Latvian politician who served as the sixth President of Latvia from 1999 to 2007. She is the first and to date only woman to hold the post. She was elected President of Latvia in 1999 and re-elected for the second term in 2003.

Larisa Savchenko-Neiland is a retired tennis player who represented the Soviet Union and Latvia. A former world number-one-ranked doubles player, Neiland won six Grand Slam titles, two in women's doubles and four in mixed doubles. She also won two singles titles and 63 doubles titles on the WTA Tour. She is listed in fourth place for the most doubles match wins (766) in WTA history, after Lisa Raymond, Rennae Stubbs and Liezel Huber.
The Latvia women's national tennis team represents Latvia in Fed Cup tennis competition and are governed by the Latvian Tennis Union. They currently compete in World Group II.
Miss Universe Latvia is a national Beauty pageant that selects the Latvian representative to the Miss Universe pageant. The contestants represent the 7 cities and 26 districts. There they would select the top 15, then the top 10 and the final 5. So far the pageant was held only thrice: 2005, 2006, and in 2022.

Latvian Naval Forces is the naval warfare branch of the National Armed Forces. It is tasked with conducting military, search and rescue operations, mine and explosive sweeping on the Baltic Sea, as well as ecological monitoring activities. The Naval Forces have participated in international NATO/Partnership for Peace operations and various exercises with great success. The main development priorities of the Naval Forces are to expand their activities within the Baltic States’ Ship Squadron BALTRON and to develop a Sea Surveillance System. They pay a great deal of attention to professionally specialized training and English-language teaching.
Marija Naumova-Bullīta, known professionally as Marija Naumova, is a Latvian singer. Under the stage name Marie N, she sings a broad range of music ranging from pop to musical theatre and jazz, and has recorded several albums, with songs in Latvian, French, English, Russian and Portuguese. In 2002, she won the Eurovision Song Contest for Latvia with her song "I Wanna".
Linda Dinsberga, known by her stage name Anmary, is a Latvian singer of Russian origin who won the Latvian national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Azerbaijan with the song "Beautiful Song".
Jeļena "Aļona" Ostapenko is a Latvian professional tennis player. She has career-high WTA rankings of No. 5 in singles, achieved on 19 March 2018, and No. 7 in doubles, reached on 12 September 2022.

Laura de Carvalho Rizzotto is a Latvian-Brazilian singer, songwriter, pianist and guitarist. In 2014, she independently released her second studio album Reason to Stay, and independently released the extended play RUBY in 2017.
Aminata Savadogo, occasionally known as simply Aminata, is a Latvian singer, songwriter, record producer, and model. She represented Latvia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song "Love Injected". She released her debut studio album, Inner Voice, in April 2015.

Zanda Martena is a Latvian-German politician of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) who has been serving as member of the Bundestag, since 2021. She is a full member of the Legal Affairs Committee and committee chair of the European Law Subcommittee.
