Olindo Iacobelli (born 17 October 1945) is an Italian former business executive and racing driver. [1] He has been collecting cars for over three decades while living in the U.S., Italy, France, and currently in the United Kingdom. During his racing career, he drove in more than 300 races worldwide, winning 52 and the world-renowned 24 Hours of Le Mans race.

Career

Olindo Iacobelli educated at the University of Michigan and Harvard University, his business career, which began in Atlanta, Georgia, working for Mead Packaging, includes positions as Planning and Financial Manager for a European company, President of a Mead Packaging Italian joint venture with Buitoni, Vice President of the French subsidiary for Mead, then Vice President for Mead Packaging Europe, Africa, and Middle East operations. At 45 years old, he became Mead's President for Europe, Africa and the Middle East. He contributed to making the company the world leader in multi-packaging. After leaving Mead at age 55, he founded Biandra Ltd. UK, a professional tennis management company. Here, he had the enormous pleasure of managing many top ten players and lifting cups in major tournaments like Roland Garros with Gaston Gaudio.At the same time, he established various U.S.-based land development companies. In 2010, he co-founded the Masia Tennis Academy in Valencia, Spain.

Private life

He has been married to his beautiful wife Carolyn since 1975, and is blessed with three loving daughters, Karen, Amanda, and Melissa. He has always had a very close relationship with his father, Carlo, his beloved mother, Delicata, and his sister Clare.
