Oliver "Ollie" Lang is an American professional paintball player, who by the age of 19 in 2003, had already been awarded the Player of the Year Award by "several magazines." [1] He is regarded as one of the best paintball players to ever play, and still plays today. [2] Paintballer Matt Marshall has stated that Lang “wins so frequently, plays our sport so instinctually, and gobbles up life on the road at such a frantic and furious pace.” [3]

Professional paintball career

Lang has played with various teams over his career, including the Ironkids. In 2002, Lang joined childhood friends Alex Fraige, Todd Martinez, Ryan Greenspan, Brian Cole, Brad Maughan, and Angel Fragoza in the year old San Diego Dynasty team. [3] He then left Dynasty in 2006 to re-join the Los Angeles Ironmen, making paintball history when he was paid $100,000 to do so by Dye Action Sports. [4]

In 2011 Oliver Lang rejoined San Diego Dynasty. They went on to win the first Paintball Sports Promotions (PSP) event of 2011, the 2011 PSP Galveston Island Open, defeating Boston Red Legion (more widely known as Russian Legion) 7-2 in the finals, a team who had won the past two events.

After winning PSP Texas in 2011, [5] Oliver led San Diego Dynasty to a first-place finish in Paris, at the first Millennium Series event. In April 2011, San Diego Dynasty won the first NPPL event at Huntington Beach, this win secured team Dynasty's 50th professional win. After the win at Huntington Beach, Dynasty has now won nearly one-third of all the professional paintball events ever played.

Lang also played in the CXBL in Canada on the team Scarborough Hustle. [6] Splat magazine rated him the best paintball player in the world. [7]

DYE Precision, also known as simply DYE, is a paintball equipment manufacturing company and a well known Numerical control (CNC) manufacturing company operated under the brand DYE CNC based in California. Dave Dehaan started the company by producing barrels for paintball markers, using his garage as a workshop. He supplied barrels to the California Ironmen and Team Avalanche, who at that time were two of the most dominant teams in Professional paintball. From these humble beginnings, DYE went on to become an International concern that went on to manufacture an extensive range of paintball markers, loaders, playing & casual clothing, protective gear, goggles and luggage and created an economy focused offshoot brand Proto Paintball. Their range of products is typically updated each year. In 2005, the company was praised as one of the industry's largest paintball manufacturers. The company has offices in London, Taiwan and Germany.

The Southern California Collegiate Baseball League is a collegiate summer baseball league, formerly the SCCBA (Association). Founded in 2007, the SCCBL is a member of the National Baseball Congress. Gregory Scott Lee was an American professional basketball and volleyball player. He played college basketball for the UCLA Bruins, winning back-to-back national championships as their starting point guard in 1972 and 1973. He had short stints in the original American Basketball Association (ABA) and the National Basketball Association (NBA) before playing four seasons in West Germany. As a volleyball player, Lee teamed with Jim Menges to set a record with 13 consecutive professional beach volleyball titles. Greenspan is a founding member of the professional paintball team San Diego Dynasty, and with that team has won more professional tournaments than any other team in the history of the sport. Greenspan resides in San Diego, California, which is the team’s current headquarters. Currently, Dynasty wears blue uniforms with a Japanese-styled blue dragon.
