Om Prakash Tyagi (1912- 1986) was a leader of Bharatiya Jan Sangh from Uttar Pradesh. He was a member of the 4th Lok Sabha from Moradabad and 6th Lok Sabha from Bahraich. [1] He lost from Bahraich in 1971 and 1980. After losing his bid for a place in Lok Sabha in 1971, he served as a member of the Rajya Sabha from 1972 to 1977.

He was born in 1912 in Bulandshahr District. He studied at Banaras Hindu University. He took active part in the "Quit India" movement in 1942 and was imprisoned. He was associated with Arya Samaj and RSS. He was founder President of Arya Veer Dal. Later he joined Jan Sangh. He was involved with Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh too . He wrote a number of books on religion, social and political themes. In 1978 he introduced Freedom of Religion Bill as a private bill in Lok Sabha to make 'fraudulent' conversions illegal. [2]

Dr Baldev Prakash was a leader of Bharatiya Janata Party from Punjab, India. He was a member of 6th Lok Sabha elected from Amritsar. He was a member of Punjab Legislative Assembly from 1957 to 1969 and 1974–77 and was president state unit of Jan Sangh from 1964 to 1974. He served as minister of Finance in Government of Punjab, India in 1967 in Gurnam Singh led cabinate. Baldev Prakash also represented Punjab in Rajya Sabha in 1992. He had studied M.B.B.S.

Jagdish Prasad Mathur (13/1/1928-04/08/2007) was an Indian politician and a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He was born in 1928 in Sikar district of Rajasthan state and was associated with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. He became a member of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh in 1952 and elected to Rajasthan Legislative Assembly for 1957- 62 term. He served as secretary and president of Rajasthan unit of Jan Sangh. Later he represented Sikar in 6th Lok Sabha and became a member of the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian parliament from 3-4-1970 to 2-4-1976.

Yadavendra Dutt Dubey (1918–1999) was the Maharaja of Jaunpur since 1956. He had been a member of the Hindu nationalist organisation Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh since 1942 and became its sanghchalak (director) for the Varanasi division. He was elected to the 6th and 9th Lok Sabha from Jaunpur on a Bharatiya Jan Sangh ticket. He was a member of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly for 17 years and served as its leader of opposition from 1962 to 1964.
