On December 5, 1991, A De Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter operated by Oman aviation services en route to Muscat International Airport [1] to Khasab Airport Had suffered a Nose Gear Collapse while Landing at Khasab Airport with Heavy rain and veered off the runway, No Casualties Were Found. While Landing at Khasab Airport, The weather was Heavy rain and Severe weather, The plane was normally Flight with a low altitude typically 60 knots or 50 knots from Landing at Khasab Airport, The plane was straightly pointing at the runway and the runway was slippery with rain. The De Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter [8] Hardly landed at Runway 01L at Khasab Airport [9] [8] , The plane was so Hard to control it because the Runway was slippery and reducing Friction on the Gear of the plane making it Hard to control the Aircraft. The aircraft Collapsed its Nose Gear and sliding into the runway and making it veer off the runway, No Casualties were found either Injures, All 19 Occupants including 17 Passengers and 2 crew survived the Accident, The Accident made Oman aviation service's first Accident. But after 15 years, A Boeing 737 Classic Crashed in Yogyakarta killing 21 people, similar to the Twin Otter Accident [10] [11]
