Omar Arnaout (Arabic : عمر أرناؤوط) (born 20 October 2000) is a Romania-based singer. He was the winner of the first season of Next Star , a Romanian singing contest broadcast on Antena 1, in 2013. [1]
Omar Arnaout's mother is Romanian and his father is Lebanese. He is the youngest of three brothers and currently resides in Bucharest, Romania.
After his success, he released a number of singles and music videos.
He has appeared in shows, including Kinge Majike in Albania, or Bama Music Awards in Germany, Hamburg, in which he released an album with more than 20 official songs.
Arnaout is the winner of many titles, including "The Best Young Artist" at Bama Music Awards,[ citation needed ] "Favorite International Project" on Mamaia Music Awards (Romania) 2016,[ citation needed ] "The best European artist" at Mamaia Music Awards (Romania) 2017,[ citation needed ] "The biggest Romanian Helper for orphans," in 2017, 2018, and 2019.[ citation needed ]
Besides his success in Europe, Omar Arnaout has a good relationship with the Persian Gulf region, especially with Qatar, where he has performed several times at big venues like the National Theatre, English Schools (kids' show) and the national Atheneum of Qatar at Doha.[ citation needed ]

The singer was a coach on the Romanian version of the televised competition The Voice for its first seven seasons.

Next Star is a Romanian reality competition television series broadcast on the Romanian television station Antena 1. It debuted in 2013. The focus of the series was to discover singing talent in those aged 3 to 13 years. The top prize is 20,000 euros. The series is presented by Dan Negru, and contestants are assessed by a jury of professionals. Famous performers from Romania and elsewhere occasionally take part to co-sing with the children.
Carla's Dreams is a music project from Moldova, formed in 2012 in Chișinău. The band is composed of an anonymous group of singers and composers who perform their songs in Romanian, English and Russian. Their lead singer, codenamed Sergiu, and his bandmates all hide their identity in public appearances by wearing hooded sweatshirts, sunglasses and a face mask made of makeup. Carla's Dreams rose to prominence in Moldova and Romania upon releasing the single "P.O.H.U.I." with Inna in 2013, and have since then issued nine singles that went on to be number-one singles in Romania.
