Omar Haji Saad (born 12 October 1949) is a Malaysian former cyclist. He competed in the individual road race and team time trial events at the 1972 Summer Olympics. [1]

Elyas bin Omar was the third Mayor of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as well the longest serving as Mayor in Kuala Lumpur history. He served for a period of 12 years. Elyas was the president of the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) and during his tenure, Malaysia won the Thomas Cup in 1992. In football, Elyas was president of Kuala Lumpur FA when it won the Malaysia Cup three times in a row from 1987 to 1989.
