Euro Shopper is a discount brand of everyday commodities developed and marketed by AMS Sourcing B.V. The Netherlands participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 with the song "On Top of the World" written by Tjeerd Oosterhuis, Martin Gijzemijter and Maarten ten Hove. The song was performed by Edsilia Rombley, who was internally selected by the Dutch broadcaster Nederlandse Omroep Stichting (NOS) to represent the Netherlands at the 2007 contest in Helsinki, Finland after previously representing the country in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1998 where she placed third with the song "Hemel en aarde". Edsilia Rombley's appointment as the Dutch representative was announced on 16 December 2006. Three potential songs were presented to the public on 11 February 2007 during the special programme Mooi! Weer het Nationaal Songfestival where the selected song "Nooit meer zonder jou" was announced. The song was later translated from Dutch to English for the Eurovision Song Contest and was titled "On Top of the World".
De Dijk were a Dutch rock band existing from 1981 to 2022. The band were named after Zeedijk, a street in their hometown Amsterdam. Their music can be described as a mixture of soul, blues and rock 'n roll, with lyrics sung only in Dutch, except for their 2010 album Hold On Tight; the song Enough is Enough, both of which are sung in English by Solomon Burke; and Stupid Guy from the album Wakker in een vreemde wereld, performed in English by the regular band.

The company was formerly known as Joylent, but agreed to change its name in February 2017 after Soylent asked them to. Its customers mostly consist of young men, some of whom rely exclusively on Jimmy Joy shakes as their main source of nutrition. Germany and the U.K. are its biggest export markets. Because of the absence of reigning Miss Belgium, Chayenne Van Aarle, Miss Belgium 2021 Kedist Deltour crowned Emilie Vansteenkiste of Flemish Brabant at end of the event. Vansteenkiste represented Belgium at the Miss Universe 2023 pageant, but did not place.
