The Burj Khalifa is a skyscraper in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is the world's tallest structure. With a total height of 829.8 m and a roof height of 828 m (2,717 ft), the Burj Khalifa has been the tallest structure and building in the world since its topping out in 2009, surpassing Taipei 101, the previous holder of that status.
The World Islands are an archipelago of small artificial islands constructed in the shape of a world map, located in the waters of the Persian Gulf, off the coast of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The World Islands are composed mainly of sand dredged from Dubai's shallow coastal waters and are one of several artificial island developments in the emirate. The World's developer is Nakheel Properties, and the project was originally conceived by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai. Construction was done by two Dutch joint-venture specialist companies, Van Oord and Boskalis. The same companies also created the Palm Jumeirah.
Dubai Mall is the largest shopping mall in Dubai. It is the second largest mall in the world by total land area after the Iran Mall, and the 26th-largest shopping mall in the world by gross leasable area, with a total retail floor area of 350,000 m2 (3,800,000 sq ft). The mall is part of the 20-billion-dollar Downtown complex called Downtown Dubai that is adjacent to the Burj Khalifa, and includes over 1,200 shops. In 2011, it was the most visited building on the planet, and attracts over 54 million visitors each year.
The JW Marriott Marquis Dubai Hotel is the world's second tallest hotel, a 72-storey, 355 m (1,165 ft) twin-tower skyscraper complex in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The AED1.8 billion complex features a 1,608-room hotel run by Marriott International.
The Burj Al Alam was a proposed 108-story, 510 m (1,670 ft) hyperboloid skyscraper in the Business Bay area of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, though the project's roots are in a 101-storey design called "Fortune 101" and slated for the Dubai Marina area. It was designed to resemble a crystal flower. If constructed, it would have become one of the world's tallest buildings. The tower was one of the projects of the Fortune Group, which has a number of other projects in Dubai such as the Fortune Bay and Fortune Tower.
Business Bay is a central business district under construction in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The project features numerous skyscrapers located in an area where Dubai Creek has been dredged and extended, and located immediately south of Downtown Dubai. Business Bay will have upwards of 240 buildings, comprising commercial and residential developments. The infrastructure of Business Bay has been completed in 2008, and the entire development was expected to be completed between 2012-2015. Business Bay is part of the vision of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashed Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Ruler of Dubai. Business Bay will be a new 'city' within the city of Dubai and is being built as a commercial, residential and business cluster along a new extension of Dubai Creek extending from Ras Al Khor to Sheikh Zayed Road. Covering an area of 64,000,000 square feet (5,900,000 m2), it is composed of office and residential towers set in landscaped gardens with a network of roads, pathways and canals.
The Princess Tower is a 101-story, 413.4 m (1,356 ft) tall residential-only skyscraper located in the Marina district of Dubai, UAE. As of September 2022, Princess Tower is the third tallest building in Dubai, after the Burj Khalifa and Marina 101 and the 36th tallest building in the world. Princess Tower was the tallest residential building in the world from 2012 to 2015, when it was overtaken by 432 Park Avenue in New York City.
Elite Residence is a supertall skyscraper in Dubai, United Arab Emirates in the Dubai Marina district, overlooking one of the human-made palm islands, Palm Jumeirah. The building is 380.5 metres (1,248 ft) tall and has 87 floors. Of the 91 floors, 76 are for 695 apartments and the other 15 include amenities such as car-parking, swimming pools, spas, reception areas, health clubs, a business centre and a gymnasium.

Due to the burst of construction, Dubai has acquired various building-related records, which include: the world's tallest tower, the world's largest shopping mall, the world's largest fountain and the world's tallest hotel. Also under construction is Dubailand, which will be almost twice the size of the Walt Disney World Resort.
Dubai Creek has been described as a natural saltwater creek, tidal inlet, and watercourse or waterway in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). It extends about 9 miles (14 km) inwards and forms a natural port that has traditionally been used for trade and transport. The creek ranges from 200 to 1,200 metres in width while the average depth is about 6.5 to 7 metres. Previously, it extended to Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary but as part of the new Business Bay Canal and Dubai Canal, it extends a further 13 km (8.1 mi) to the Persian Gulf.
The AAM Tower is a 46-floor office tower in Dubai Media City in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is 243.8 m (800 ft) tall. The building was designed by Arenco Architectural & Engineering Consultants. It was also developed by Al Nekhreh Contracting Co. LLC. The construction of the building started in 2005. It was completed in 2008.

Anara Tower was a proposed supertall skyscraper in Dubai. It was slated to be one of Dubai's tallest buildings, and would have been 655 m (2,149 ft) tall with 135 floors. It was designed to look like a massive wind turbine. It was supposed to be a mixed use tower with offices, retail spaces, apartments, and an art gallery. Anara Tower would have incorporated sky gardens every 27 floors and would have contained a luxury restaurant. If built it was expected to be an energy efficient tower by installing renewable sources of energy and incorporating water efficiency strategies.
Dubai Meydan City is a new development under construction in the Ras Al Khor area of Dubai, UAE. The project was launched on the eve of the 2007 Dubai World Cup. The entire development will cover more than 40,000,000 square feet (3,700,000 m2) GFA on a land size of around 15,000,000 square feet (1,400,000 m2). Meydan city is expected to be completed in 2020, while Meydan Racecourse officially opened on 27 March 2010. The development includes hotels, sky-bubble restaurant, entertainment, clubs, a concourse plaza, IMAX movie theater, towers and a boat-house.
O14 or O-14 is an office skyscraper located in Business Bay in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is 102 m (335 ft) tall and has 23 floors. The building's floor area is 300,000 sq ft (28,000 m2). There is a 1-meter space between the facade and the windows which allows hot air to rise and cool air to come in from below. The facade is 40 cm thick and made of an extremely fluid concrete. It has 1000 circular openings of various sizes. The building is held up by the core and exoskeleton so the space inside is largely column free. O-14 is the winner of the 2009 Silver, Emporis Skyscraper Award. O-14 also won the 2010 ACEC National Honor Award for Excellence in Engineering Design. O-14 was the recipient of the best tall building in Middle East and Africa in the best tall buildings awards by Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat.
Dubai Pearl was a 73-storey, 300 m (984 ft), tall residential skyscraper project situated along Al Sufouh Road in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The project was first announced in 2002. Construction was on hold from 2006 to 2022. As per reports, demolition work is ongoing at the site as of January 23rd, 2023. The building would have consisted of four mixed-use towers connected together at the base and by a sky bridge at the top. The structural design was carried out by the Dubai-based engineering firm e-Construct, and the project would have cost $4 billion. Had it been completed, Dubai Pearl would have accommodated 9,000 residents and its commercial sector would have employed 12,000 people.

It has a restaurant, 3 pools, and views of the Burj Khalifa.
Marina 106, also known as the 106 Tower, is a supertall residential skyscraper, partially constructed but currently on hold, in Dubai, UAE. The building is planned to rise 449.5 m (1,475 ft) in the Dubai Marina, with 106 floors. The building was originally planned to be completed in 2019. Marina 106 was designed by the National Engineering Bureau, and is being developed by London Gate.
The Dubai Frame is an observatory, museum and monument in Zabeel Park, Dubai. It holds the record for the largest frame in the world. The building has a height of 150.24 meters and a width of 95.53 meters. The building mainly serves as an observatory, providing views of old Dubai in the north and newer parts in the south.
At The Top, Burj Khalifa is a series of observation decks on the 124th and 125th floors of the Burj Khalifa which opened to the public on 5 January 2010. At 452 m (1,483 ft), it boasted the highest manmade observation deck in the world at the time This record was subsequently broken and regained twice with the respective openings of the At The Top, Burj Khalifa SKY and The Lounge, Burj Khalifa levels.
