Blackpool is a British television musical drama serial, produced in-house by the BBC, that first broadcast on BBC One on 11 November 2004. Starring David Morrissey, Sarah Parish and David Tennant, the serial was written by Peter Bowker, who had previously written for BBC One's modern adaptation of The Canterbury Tales and BBC Two's Flesh and Blood, and directed by Coky Giedroyc and Julie Anne Robinson. The series was filmed on location in Brentford and Blackpool itself, and broadcast across six weeks at 9:00 pm on Thursdays, until 16 December 2004.
The Golden Calf is the award of the Netherlands Film Festival, which is held annually in Utrecht. The award has been presented since 1981, originally in six categories: Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Feature Film, Best Short Film, Culture Prize and Honourable mention. In 2004, there were 16 award categories, mainly because in 2003 the categories Best Photography, Best Montage, Best Music, Best Production Design, Best Sound Design were added.
Willem Theodoor "Wim T." Schippers is a Dutch artist, comedian, television director, and voice actor. During the 1960s, he worked mostly as a visual artist, associated with the international Fluxus-movement. As a television writer, director, and actor he is responsible for some of the most notable and controversial shows on Dutch televisions from the 1960s to the 1990s, creating a number of lasting characters and enriching the language with terms and expressions first coined in his shows. In addition, he voiced the characters of Ernie and Kermit the Frog on Sesamstraat, the Dutch version of Sesame Street. For his shows, he has written over three hundred songs, and his reputation has changed from being Dutch television's "enfant terrible" to an acknowledged master in a variety of genres.

The Cinekid Festival is the largest international film, television and new media festival for children aged 4 to 14 held at the Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam, Netherlands. It started as a small children's film festival and has now grown into a large organisation that develops activities for children in the areas of film, television and new media throughout the year. These activities are presented alongside the festival, whereas the festival itself screens films from all over the world and a selection of the best television programs for children. Kinderen geen bezwaar is a Dutch sitcom, developed by the VARA and written by Haye van der Heyden. The first episode aired on Nederland 1 on 25 September 2004, replacing the popular series Oppassen!!!. After the ninth season, which was scheduled to air in January 2013, the series was not renewed. This is the result of a recurring discussion whether Dutch public television should provide comedy or not. The last six episodes were filmed from 29 May till 7 July 2012. Repeats of Kinderen geen bezwaar attracted audiences of more than one million people.
Ronflonflon, or Ronflonflon avec Jacques Plafond, was a radio show on the Dutch broadcaster VPRO. It was produced and directed by Wim T. Schippers who also played the principal character and radio host, Jacques Plafond. Between 10 October 1984 and 30 January 1991, 328 episodes were produced, and it became the VPRO's best-listened radio program.
30 minuten was a 1995 Dutch satirical mockumentary TV series, written by Arjan Ederveen and directed by Pieter Kramer. Ederveen also starred in every episode. Two series of seven episodes were produced and broadcast by the Dutch TV station VPRO between 1995 and 1997.

He has appeared in diverse Dutch films and series like Nieuwe buren, SpangaS, Mocro Maffia and Commando's and films Layla M., De Held, De libi and Paradise Drifters portrayed mainly in ethnic roles. In 2020, he won the Golden Calf for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Paradise Drifters in the role of Yousef.
Tom Yvo Adrien Waes is a Belgian television presenter, television director, actor, model, and occasional singer. Internationally he is most known for his role in the Netflix series Undercover. In addition, Waes is an ambassador for the non-profit organization Sea Shepherd.
Oink is a 2022 Dutch stop motion animationfilm based on the book The Revenge of Oink by Tosca Menten. It was the first stop motion feature film ever made in the Netherlands. The film premiered on the 72nd edition of the Berlin Film Festival. The film won three Golden Calves for Best Feature Film, Best Director and Best production Design. Making it the first animated film to ever win these awards. it also received the Golden Film, a distinction for Dutch films with more than 100.000 tickets sold during its release. The film also made it on the shortlist for the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature but wasn't nominated.
