Ongha is a village named after a very respected bird in the Ohangwena Region in the northern part of Namibia. Its people started settling in 1940 and its first headman was named Naghonda. His name is borne by Oshivambo Ongha yaNaghonda. Ongha is in a suburban area of the northern part of Namibia. Its local language is Oshikwanyama. It is situated around 725 kilometers to the north of Windhoek.

Edundja Junior Secondary School is a school in the Ohangwena Region of northern Namibia. It is located 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) east of Oshikango, the nearest town, and 20 kilometres (12 mi) south of the Angolan border, 60 kilometres (37 mi) north of Ondangwa. It is currently a junior secondary school, but it will become a full secondary school in a few years. There are about 250 students that attend Edundja. Ondobe Yomunghudi is a village situated in northern Namibia in the Ohangwena Region. The village is named after tree species called omunghudi that was in pan nearby during its discovery, an elderly revealed. Situated on the very edge of the Owambo region. The first thing that unique about this village is the abundance of people, unlike the rest of the country. People, livestock, shebeens (bars) and markets are everywhere, seemingly all existing harmoniously in unplanned order.

PDK is an all-male trio band from Namibia. They started off as dancers and were known as The Action Boys. Later they changed their name to Action Geez. Now they perform under the name of PDK which represents the initial of their first name. The group has performed in the Namibian Annual Music Awards. They have also performed in several other reputed award shows and events. Patrick is the lead singer of the group while Dion has a unique style. Kamtonyo is a median combination of the two. The group is known to take inspiration for its music from reality.

Onandova is a settlement in the Ohangwena Region of northern Namibia. The village is situated at the east side of the Ondangwa–Oshikango Road between Ongha and Okakwa. It belongs to the Omulonga Constituency. St Francis church of the Anglican Church of Southern Africa, Diocese of Namibia, is situated here.

The COVID-19 pandemic in Namibia is part of the worldwide pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2. The Minister of Health and Social Services, Dr. Kalumbi Shangula, announced on 14 March 2020 that the virus had reached Namibia. A Romanian couple constituted the two first cases and recovered 79 days after their initial diagnosis.
