The Opera Quarter (German : Opernviertel or Opernquartier) is an area in the western part of the Innenstadt (Inner City) district of Frankfurt, Germany. It is named for the Old Opera and comprises the old opera's immediate neighbourhood in the Innenstadt district.
The Opera Quarter is defined as the area between the Old Opera and the central city square Opernplatz in the west and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and the Rathenauplatz/Goetheplatz in the east, and is centered on the pedestrian main street Freßgass, its most important street. In addition to the Freßgass itself, the quarter includes Goethestraße, Kaiserhofstraße and the narrow streetlet Kleine Hochstraße, and some other smaller streetlets, and a portion of the road Hochstraße/Neue Mainzer Straße. Recently, Neue Rothofstraße has been included as well.
The Opera Quarter is especially known for its many luxury boutiques, especially in Goethestraße, Freßgass, Kaiserhofstraße and Hochstraße, and for its restaurants and nightlife. The Opera Quarter also includes office spaces and select residential apartments. The Sofitel Frankfurt Opera luxury hotel is found in the Opera Quarter. [1] The Opera Quarter is located within the larger central business district known as the Bankenviertel (Banking District), but it is generally characterised by relatively lower buildings as compared to the high-rise buildings found elsewhere in the Bankenviertel.

Alte Oper is a concert hall in Frankfurt am Main, Hesse, Germany. It is located in the inner city, Innenstadt, within the banking district Bankenviertel. Today's Alte Oper was built in 1880 as the city's opera house, which was destroyed by bombs in 1944. It was rebuilt in the 1970s as a concert hall with a large hall and smaller venues, opened in 1981. The square in front of the building is still known as Opernplatz.

The street is a broad pedestrian zone, and is located between Hochstraße and the Opernplatz with the Alte Oper in the west and the Börsenstraße with the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in the east. The street is also the direct continuation of the Zeil, and is a parallel street of Goethestraße, Germany's best known luxury shopping street. In recent years Freßgass has increasingly become a luxury shopping street, serving as an extension of the Goethestraße in this regard. Its other primary adjacent street is the Kaiserhofstraße.

Kaiserhofstraße 12 is a memoir by the German author Valentin Senger (1918–1997), who was born in Frankfurt to Russian-born Jewish parents. Originally published in German in 1978, it depicts his childhood at Kaiserhofstraße in central Frankfurt during the Weimar Republic and the Nazi era, and how his Jewish family survived the entire Nazi era undetected in the middle of Frankfurt with the help of several non-Jewish friends and neighbours at Kaiserhofstraße, sympathetic public officials, his mother's creativity and a good portion of luck. Senger was 14 years old when the Nazis came to power.
The Willy-Brandt-Platz is a central square in Frankfurt am Main, Hesse, Germany. Its name was Theaterplatz until 1992, when it was named after Willy Brandt, the former chancellor. It is located between the Main Station and the Altstadt, at the Frankfurter Anlagenring, and is part of the so-called Bankenviertel. Major buildings are the Städtisches Opern- und Schauspielhaus, the municipal theatre that opened in 1963, and the Eurotower skyscraper. Below the square are the U-Bahnhof Willy-Brandt-Platz and the Theatertunnel street tunnel.
Four, also known as Four Frankfurt, is a major, luxury mixed-use skyscraper project in Frankfurt, consisting of a complex of four skyscrapers under construction. It is located in the area known as the Deutsche Bank triangle in the Innenstadt borough. The tallest skyscraper is 233 metres (764 ft) high and has the highest usable floor in Frankfurt. By total building height it is both Frankfurt and Germany's third-tallest building upon its estimated completion in 2024. Dutch star-architect and student of Zaha Hadid, Ben van Berkel has designed and developed the building.
