Opuwo was a constituency in the Kunene Region of Namibia. Its population in 2010 was 20,119, and its administrative capital was Opuwo. [1]
Opuwo Constituency was dissolved in August 2013, in preparation for the 2014 general election. [2] Following a recommendation of the Fourth Delimitation Commission of Namibia the new constituencies Opuwo Urban (comprising the townlands and immediate surroundings of Opuwo), and Opuwo Rural (comprising the remainder of Opuwo Constituency) were created. [3]
The 2004 regional election was won by Nghohauvi Kavetu of the Democratic Turnhalle Alliance (DTA) with 2,750 of the 5,996 votes cast. [4]
Kunene is one of the fourteen regions of Namibia. Its capital is Opuwo, its governor is Marius Sheya. The region's name comes from the Kunene River which forms the northern border with Angola. Besides the capital Opuwo, the region contains the municipality of Outjo, the town Khorixas and the self-governed village Kamanjab. Kunene is home to the Himba people, a subtribe of the Herero, as well as to Damara people and Nama people. As of 2020, Kunene had 58,548 registered voters.
Epupa Constituency is a constituency in the Kunene Region of Namibia. The constituency contains the Epupa Falls after which it is named, located on the Angolan-Namibian border. Its population in 2004 was 12,816. In 2020 it had 12,182 registered voters.

It comprises the rural area surrounding the constituency's district capital city of Walvis Bay, and additionally some streets on the outskirts of the city. It had a population of 26,916 in 2011, up from 16,293 in 2001. As of 2020 the constituency had 25,746 registered voters.
Rundu Rural is an electoral constituency in the Kavango East Region of Namibia. It comprises the area east of Rundu, one of Namibia's largest cities. It had a population of 22,538 in 2011, up from 18,250 in 2001. As of 2020 the constituency had 6,060 registered voters.
Opuwo Rural is an electoral constituency in the Kunene Region of Namibia. The administrative centre of Opuwo Rural is the settlement of Otuani. As of 2020, it has 7,315 registered voters.
Ndonga Linena Constituency is an electoral constituency in the Kavango East Region of Namibia. It was created in August 2013, following a recommendation of the Fourth Delimitation Commission of Namibia, and in preparation of the 2014 general election. The administrative centre of Ndonga Linena Constituency is the settlement of Ndonga Linena. Ndonga Linena was formed from the western part of the Ndiyona Constituency. As of 2020 the constituency had 6,597 registered voters.
Kabbe South is the easternmost of the eight electoral constituencies of Zambezi Region of Namibia. The administrative centre of Kabbe South is the settlement of Nakabolelwa. As of 2020, the constituency had 3,751 registered voters.

Before the administrative change in 2013 the area of this constituency, including the town of Nkurenkuru, was part of Mpungu Constituency in the Kavango Region.
