Orpheus Pledger (11 May 1993) is an Australian actor. He played Tycho Everson in the children's series Silversun , and appeared as Noah Parkin in Neighbours in 2011. From 2016 to 2019, Pledger starred as Mason Morgan in the Australian soap opera Home and Away .
In 2002, an eight-year-old Pledger starred in writer-director Emma Freeman's short film Lamb. [3] The following year, Pledger began appearing as Lewis Harfield in the drama series CrashBurn . [4] Pledger starred as Tycho Everson in the science fiction children's series Silversun in 2004. [5] [6] Pledger has also made appearances in The Secret Life of Us , Welcher & Welcher , Scooter: Secret Agent and Nick Giannopoulos' film The Wannabes . [5]
Pledger joined the cast of Neighbours as student Noah Parkin in 2011. [7] Pledger's agent told him about the role and asked him to read through Noah's character notes. After deciding that he wanted the role, Pledger attended a screen test with the Neighbours casting director. [8] After a recall, Pledger was told he had the role. He was contracted for six months. [8] In 2014, Pledger appeared in the Nine Network television film Schapelle . [9]
On 5 December 2015, Jonathon Moran of The Daily Telegraph reported Pledger had joined Home and Away as Mason Morgan. [1] Pledger relocated from Melbourne to Sydney for filming. [1] He choose to leave the role in 2019, and his character was killed off in the season finale on 27 November. [10]
In February 2022, Pledger took part in Season 3 of SAS Australia , but voluntarily withdrew after two days. [11] He quit during a psychological evaluation with Ant Middleton and Doctor Dan to discuss his "erratic behaviour", after he was shown refusing to help out at the camp and receiving backlash from his fellow recruits. [11]
On 19 February 2021, Pledger was charged with possessing half a gram of Methylamphetamine and 30 tablets of Diazepam without a prescription. [12] During the hearing at Melbourne Magistrates Court on 16 November, which Pledger did not attend, he accepted responsibility for the charges and was placed on a diversion program, which meant he did not have to enter a plea and was spared a criminal record. The Magistrate also ordered Pledger to be of good behaviour for six months, donate $150 to the court fund, complete a drug awareness course, and thank the officer who charged him. [12]

Home and Away is an Australian television soap opera. It was created by Alan Bateman and commenced broadcast on the Seven Network on 17 January 1988. Bateman came up with the concept of the show during a trip to Kangaroo Point, New South Wales, where he noticed locals were complaining about the construction of a foster home and against the idea of foster children from the city living in the area. The soap opera was initially going to be called Refuge, but the name was changed to the "friendlier" title of Home and Away once production began.
Silversun is a science fiction children's television series made in Australia by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). The show features the adventures of the adolescent members of the crew of the Star Runner, an interstellar spaceship carrying a cargo of 550 cryonically suspended colonists ("cryons") to their new home, the Silver Sun.
Schapelle Leigh Corby is an Australian woman who was convicted of smuggling cannabis into Indonesia. She spent nine years imprisoned on the Indonesian island of Bali in Kerobokan Prison. Since her arrest Corby has publicly maintained that the drugs were planted in her bodyboard bag and that she did not know about them. Her trial and conviction were a major focus of attention for the Australian media.
Jodi Lee Gordon is an Australian actress and model. From 2005 to 2010 she portrayed Martha MacKenzie in Home and Away. Gordon won the Logie Award for Most Popular New Female Talent in 2006. Gordon competed in the eighth season of Dancing with the Stars and made her debut feature film appearance in The Cup (2011). She has also appeared in Underbelly: Badness and Camp. From 2016 to 2023, Gordon played English teacher Elly Conway in Neighbours.

Sophie Ramsay is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera Neighbours, played by Kaiya Jones. The actress was cast in the role following a competitive audition process. Jones began filming her first scenes in February 2009. She made her first screen appearance during the episode broadcast on 18 May 2009. The character was created as part of a new generation of the Ramsay family, along with her brother Harry and sister Kate. Sophie is the youngest of three siblings introduced to the show. Erin Mullally is an Australian actor and model best known for playing the role of Declan Napier in Neighbours. Mullally was cast in the role after original actor, James Sorensen, left the show. The character of Declan is Mullally's first major television role. After less than a year with Neighbours, it was announced that Mullally was to leave the show in March 2011.

Schapelle is an Australian television film that aired in Australia on Nine Network on 9 February 2014 and in New Zealand on TV One on 20 February 2014. It was produced by Stephen Corvini Fremantle Media Australia, written by playwright Katherine Thomson and directed by Khoa Do, and is based on the true story of Schapelle Corby. It is based on the book Sins of the Father: The untold story behind Schapelle Corby's ill-fated drug run by Eamonn Duff. This source was later to be discredited via a series of legal actions. In the first case the judge awarded $50,000 damages for breach of copyright in the unauthorised use of family photographs. Defamation cases followed, and in October 2015 family members settled for an undisclosed amount.
Russell John Kiefel was an Australian stage, film and television actor. After graduating from the National Institute of Dramatic Art, Kiefel started his screen acting career with a role in the 1977 feature film The Singer and the Dancer. He followed this with roles in Breaker Morant (1980), Twelfth Night (1986), Call Me Mr. Brown (1990) and television film The Leaving of Liverpool (1992). Kiefel appeared in several television dramas, including Home and Away, Fireflies and Stingers. He starred in an episode of Twisted Tales in 1998. Among his various guest appearances were episodes of Wildside, Blue Heelers and Something in the Air. In 2008, Kiefel played Lloyd Ross in Infamous Victory: Ben Chifley's Battle for Coal. He joined the cast of Neighbours in the recurring role of Russell Brennan in 2015.
Mason Morgan is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera Home and Away, played by Orpheus Pledger. The actor relocated to Sydney from Melbourne upon being offered the role. He began filming his first scenes in early December 2015. Pledger made his first appearance as Mason during the episode broadcast on 7 June 2016.
