The Osceola Park Historic Residential District is in Vero Beach, Florida. It contains the homes of several former city officials from as far back as the 1920s. [2] On January 13, 2013, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. [1]

The Osceola Park neighborhood was first developed in 1915 and 1917, with the proposal by the Indian Farms Company for the Little Acre Farms and Osceola Park Homesites subdivisions.

Little Acre Farms featured one-acre lots suitable for a home and a small truck farm. [3] Osceola Park Homesites were 15,000 square foot lots, with some commercial lots along Osceola Boulevard. Later subdivisions included Jacoby's Addition (1923), McCurdy's (1925), and the Little Farms Addition (1954.) [4]

The Boston–Edison Historic District is a historic neighborhood located in the geographic center of Detroit, Michigan. It consists of over 900 homes built on four east/west streets: West Boston Boulevard, Chicago Boulevard, Longfellow Avenue, and Edison Avenue, stretching from Woodward Avenue on the east to Linwood Avenue on the west. It is one of the largest residential historic districts in the nation. It is surrounded by Sacred Heart Major Seminary to the west, the Arden Park-East Boston Historic District and the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament to the east, and the Atkinson Avenue Historic District to the south. Sag Harbor Hills, Azurest, and Ninevah Beach Subdivisions Historic District (SANS) is an African American beachfront community in Sag Harbor, New York. Founded following World War II, the SANS community served primarily as a summer retreat for middle-class African American families during the post-WWII and Jim Crow era. African American families were not allowed at beachfront resorts, pools or beaches, and SANS began as a place of refuge from racial strife. The historic district is bordered by Hempstead Street, Richards Drive, Hampton Street, Lincoln Street, Harding Terrace, Terry Drive and the eastern end of Haven's Beach in Sag Harbor. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on July 10, 2019.

Dean Alvord was an American real estate developer, college professor, and philanthropist known for his real estate developments in the New York City Metropolitan Area and in Florida. He was a relative of both Johnathan Edwards and Aaron Burr.
