Osez was born in Montevideo, he was a member of the rap group "Sens Unik".

Sens Unik is a Swiss Hip-Hop (Music) Group (Music) from Lausanne, which was founded in 1987 and disbanded the 2010.

He performed live on many stages from Switzerland (Montreux Jazz Festival, Paleo Festival), New York (New Music Seminar) to Paris (Bataclan), Montreal, Berlin, Barcelone and all over Europe.

He started with the group in 1991 as dancer for the "6ème sens" tour then became a full-time MC.

Sens Unik's third album, "Chromatic", went gold in both Switzerland and Sweden. Osez raps on the "Chromatic" and "El Sueno" tracks. The album spawned two hits and featured a number of other European hip hop artists including MC Solaar.

Osez also appears on the track "Le vent tourne" from the gold album soundtrack of the movie La Haine from Mathieu Kassovitz.

Mathieu Kassovitz French actor, film director, film producer and screenwriter

Mathieu Kassovitz is a French director, screenwriter, producer, editor, and actor. He is the founder of MNP Entreprise, a film production company.

He left the band in 1996 for a solo career and appears as guest artist on the "Barbarian" track of the fourth Sens Unik album, "Tribulations", recorded in New York by Tim Latham. He has also been featured alongside MC Carlos on the track "Hijo de Latino", which celebrates his Latin heritage. Multicultural rappers such as Osez serve as an interesting contrast to the "Mundart" or "dialect" rap of more traditionally Swiss MCs. [1] [2]

As solo artist he appears on many compilations and mix tapes, such as "Les Cool Sessions 2", "Menu Kebab", "Le Defi", "L'Assaut", some mix tapes by DJ Cut Killer and Logilo, and as a featured artist on many projects including: "Le Gooster", "Ne joue pas avec le feu" from Sleo (a full track with other rappers like Fabe, Rocca, Daddy Lord C, Lady Lestee), and a Deborah solo album.

Fabrice "Fabe" is a French rapper from Barbès, a district of Paris. He is one of the founders of Scred Connexion, an underground French rap group. He started rapping around 1991 releasing his first work as early as 1995. He is mostly known for his thought-provoking and clever use of lyrics. During the French Riots, he was cited in a petition against seven rap musicians and bands, who were alleged to have incited racism and the riots themselves. The claims were dropped shortly afterwards. He retired from the music scene in 2000 and left to study theology in Quebec.

Rocca is a French-Colombian Rapper and Producer born in April 1975, in Paris. Rocca is known as one of the best lyricist in French Rap. He gained recognition as a rapper during the 1990s as a part of the influential rap group, La Cliqua.

Deborah Biblical prophetess

According to the Book of Judges, Deborah was a prophetess of the God of the Israelites, the fourth Judge of pre-monarchic Israel and the only female judge mentioned in the Bible, and the wife of Lapidoth. Deborah told Barak that God commanded him to lead an attack against the forces of Jabin king of Canaan and his military commander Sisera ; the entire narrative is recounted in chapter 4.

In 2009, he created his own music label, "OàZMusic", on which he released his first single, and solo album called "L'oeuvre" as producer, composer and MC.

They dissolved in 1992 and again in 2000 after a failed reunion. The group released two studio albums in their initial career and both of them were certified gold by the RIAA.

A Tribe Called Quest American hip-hop group

A Tribe Called Quest was an American hip hop collective formed in 1985 and originally composed of MC and main producer Q-Tip, MC Phife Dawg, DJ and co-producer Ali Shaheed Muhammad, and MC Jarobi White, who left the group amicably in 1991. Later that year, the group released its jazz-influenced second album, The Low End Theory, regarded for helping shape alternative hip hop in the 1990s. Along with De La Soul, the group was a central part of the Native Tongues, enjoying the most commercial success out of all the groups to emerge from that collective. In 1998, the band broke up shortly before releasing its fifth album, The Love Movement, but in 2006, the group's original members reunited and toured the United States. In 2016, the group released its sixth and final album, We Got It from Here... Thank You 4 Your Service, which was still incomplete when Phife Dawg died suddenly in March 2016, and was completed by the other members after his death.

The Beatnuts band

The Beatnuts are a New York-based hip hop group and production duo from Queens, New York City. Its current members are JuJu and Psycho Les. JuJu is Dominican American from Corona and Psycho Les is a Colombian American from Jackson Heights. The Beatnuts are the only Latino members of the Native Tongues collective. Although only peripheral members, they are routinely acknowledged by Q-Tip. The Beatnuts were originally a trio before Fashion, now known as Al' Tariq, left the group to start a solo career. V.I.C. was also a member of The Beatnuts' production team for a while.

Midwest hip hop is a regional genre of hip hop music performed by artists from the Midwestern United States. In contrast with its East Coast, West Coast and Southern counterparts, Midwest hip hop has very few constants in style or production.

Mobb Deep American hip hop duo

Mobb Deep was an American hip hop duo from Queensbridge, Queens, New York. The group consisted of Havoc and Prodigy, and were a hardcore East Coast hip hop group. They were known for their dark, hardcore delivery as exemplified in "Shook Ones ." Mobb Deep became one of the most successful rap duos in hip hop, having sold over 3 million records. Three of their notable albums were The Infamous (1995), Hell On Earth (1996) and Murda Muzik (1999), and their top hits include "Shook Ones, Pt. II", "Survival of the Fittest" and "Hell on Earth".

Milton Powell, better known by his stage name Big Pokey, is an American rapper from Houston, Texas. Pokey is associated with chopped and screwed music, and is one of the original members of the Screwed Up Click.

Black Tiger, born Urs Baur, is the first rapper to rap in a Swiss German dialect, namely Basel German. Those now legendary rhymes appeared on the track "Murder by Dialect" (1991), by P-27 featuring Black Tiger. According to author Pascale Hofmeier, this decision to rap in a local dialect, or "Mundart", indicated a major shift in thinking in the Swiss hip-hop scene. His rhymes often reflect pride and investment in his home city of Basel, and in Switzerland as a whole. Later, Black Tiger recorded an album with MC Rony and established the group Skeltigeron with Skelt from P27 and MC Rony. He then focused on his solo career, his solo album "Solo" is seen by some as one of the best rap albums from the German-speaking part of Switzerland.

Urthboy Australian Hip-Hop artist

Tim Levinson, better known by the stage name Urthboy, is an Australian hip-hop MC and producer from New South Wales. He is widely known for his solo music under the moniker Urthboy, as a founding member of the hip-hop group The Herd, and for co-founding and managing the Elefant Traks record label. Levinson has released five solo albums: Distant Sense of Random Menace (2004), The Signal (2007), Spitshine (2009), Smokey's Haunt (2012) and The Past Beats Inside Me Like a Second Heartbeat (2016); as well as five studio albums with The Herd.

European hip hop is hip hop music created by European musicians. Mixtape compilation of songs recorded onto any audio format

A mixtape is a compilation of music, typically from multiple sources, recorded onto a medium. With origins in the 1980s, the term normally describes a homemade compilation of music onto a cassette tape, CD, or digital playlist. The songs are either ordered sequentially or made into a continuous program by beatmatching the songs and creating seamless transitions at their beginnings and endings with fades or abrupt edits. Essayist Geoffrey O'Brien described this definition of the mixtape as "perhaps the most widely practiced American art form".

Hodgy American rapper

Gerard Damien Long, better known by his stage name Hodgy, is an American rapper and record producer. He is best known for being a founding member of the hip hop collective Odd Future, as well as being a member of MellowHype with rapper-producer Left Brain, and MellowHigh with rapper-producer Left Brain and rapper Domo Genesis. Long is currently signed to Columbia Records and Odd Future Records.

Pumpkinhead (rapper) American rapper

Robert Alan Diaz known by his stage name Pumpkinhead or P.H., was an American rapper and hip hop artist. He grew up in the Park Slope area of Brooklyn, New York with his mother and younger sister.
