Otto von Schirach (born March 10, 1978 in Miami, Florida) is an American IDM and breakcore musician. Of Cuban and German heritage, he grew up in the Little Havana neighborhood of Miami and heavily incorporates elements of Miami bass into his music. [1] He started out DJing at house parties in the 1990s [2] and began composing his own music. In 2001 he released his first album, 8000 B.C., on his own Triangle Earth label.

The style was pioneered by Alec Empire of the German band Atari Teenage Riot during the early 1990s, and often has sociological or far-left lyrical themes.

Breakcore is a style and microgenre of electronic dance music that emerged from jungle, hardcore, and drum and bass in the mid-to-late 1990s. It is characterized by very complex and intricate breakbeats and a wide palette of sampling sources played at high tempos.

Don't Sweat the Technics is the debut studio album by American electronic music artist Kid606. Recorded by Kid606 between the ages 17 to 18, the album was issued on CD format through the independent San Francisco-based label Vinyl Communications in 1998. It was produced "100% together in the studio and in one session over the course of ten weeks".
