Outback was a lesbian newsletter, self-published in Cornwall from 1996 to 2008. [1] [2] Archives of the newsletter are stored in Kresen Kernow. [2] [3]

Donald Ryley Rawe (1930–2018) was a Cornish publisher, dramatist, novelist, and poet. Born in Padstow in 1930, he has lived most of his life near the northern coast. He became a member of Gorseth Kernow in 1970, under the Bardic name of Scryfer Lanwednoc. He died in 2018, at the age of 87.

Kresen Kernow in Redruth, United Kingdom is Cornwall's archive centre, home to the world's biggest collection of archive and library material related to Cornwall. Funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Cornwall Council and opened in 2019, it brings together the collections which were previously held at Cornwall Record Office, the Cornish Studies Library and Cornwall and Scilly Historic Environment Record as well as in various outstores.

In his will dated 1433, he bequeathed money for the preservation of the head of St Piran in the chapel at Perranzabuloe.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Abigail Reynolds (artist)</span> British artist

Abigail Reynolds is a British artist who lives in St Just, Cornwall, and has a studio at Porthmeor in St Ives. Reynolds studied at St Catherine's College, Oxford, Chelsea College of Arts, and Goldsmiths University. In March 2016 she was awarded the BMW Art Journey prize at Art Basel. In 2020 she received a Paul Hamlyn Foundation award for visual art. Several of her works were selected for the British Art Show 9, touring 2021-22. 

The Kernow football team represents Cornwall at international association football since 2018. It uses the native Cornish name of the region, Kernow, to represent its team, and is managed by the Kernow Football Alliance. As the side is not a member of UEFA or FIFA, it cannot qualify for the UEFA European Championship or FIFA World Cup, although it is a member of ConIFA and is eligible to participate in the ConIFA World Football Cup and ConIFA European Football Cup. The team is currently managed by Darren Gilbert, and coached by Darren Wright, Andrew Graham and Wayne Roberts. In 2023 Kernow faced FA Sápmi in a deciding match to join the 2024 ConIFA World Football Cup. Kernow won 2-1 progressing to the 2024 CONIFA World Football Cup finals.

Ebenezer Baptist Chapel is a Reformed Baptist and Evangelical church, located at the southern end of Broad Street at Chapel Hill, overlooking the western arm of Manor Road in Newquay, Cornwall. It is one of the oldest religious building in Newquay, and was founded in 1822 as Ebenezer Baptist Chapel.
