Overcast Off is an American indie rock band formed in Tucson, Arizona and currently located in Boston, Massachusetts. After a successful west coast tour in 2009, the band started to gain a fair amount of underground buzz. [1] Overcast Off has described their sound as "electric folk music that doesn't sound like folk music." [2] In early 2010, they participated in the Camp Wildcat benefit concert at Club Congress. [3]

The group has released four albums during the 2010s. Overcast Off's self-titled debut was released in 2010, Utopia's Expatriate was released in 2011, You Didn't Know Me was released in 2015, and Rabid Underdogs, featuring the minor hit American French Revolution, was released in 2020. [4] [5]

The band's genre is generally considered indie rock, lo-fi, or folk.

Alphaville is a German synth-pop band formed in Münster in 1982. They gained popularity in the 1980s. The group was founded by singer Marian Gold, Bernhard Lloyd, and Frank Mertens. Their current sound is a blend of Synthpop, indie, and electro although they started as a Power noise act. Each release has seen new and sometimes drastic influences creep in leading to an ever-evolving sound.

The Dø is a Finnish-French indie pop band founded in Paris in 2005. The band is composed of Olivia Merilahti and Dan Levy (multi-instrumentalist). The duo has been backed on stage by three different drummers: Jérémie Pontier (2007–08), José Joyette (2008–09), and Pierre Belleville. Their first studio album A Mouthful topped the French charts in 2008, making them the first French act singing in English to reach that position.

Andy Warpigs was a singer/songwriter from West Phoenix Arizona. They were known for their sarcastic folk punk style, their signature travel guitar, and for playing unconventional venues and spaces as well as being a figurehead in the national DIY scene. Warpigs starred as Dr. Frank-n-Furter in the stage production of the Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Firehouse ArtSpace in Phoenix, Arizona. Andy Warpigs passed away of an apparent overdose on May 30, 2021, at the age of 32.

You Dont Know Anything 1999 single by Ivy

"You Don't Know Anything" is a song by American indie rock band Ivy. It was released by Atlantic Records on April 29, 1999 as the fourth and final single from their second studio album, Apartment Life (1997). The single was made available exclusively in Europe and featured the same two B-sides as previous single, "This Is the Day", which had been released by 550 Music in Austria. The track was written by Dominique Durand, Adam Schlesinger and Andy Chase while production was handled by the latter two and Peter Nashel.

Bullet Dumas is a Filipino indie singer-songwriter. Dumas is best known for a contemporary folk style which has been described by critics as "raw, earthy," and distinctively Filipino, characterized by the use of the acoustic guitar as a strong rhythmic accent.
