P&O Maritime Logistics (formerly known as P&O Maritime) has been operating in the maritime industry since the 1960s. The company has evolved over the years, they are active in the offshore renewables space and provide a wide variety vessels to support offshore activities within Europe including; survey, maintenance, operation, construction, power cable lay and inspection services. P&O Maritime was formed in the 1960s, and has offices worldwide. In 2019, following parent company DP World's acquisition of Topaz Energy & Marine, Topaz and P&O Marine were merged to create the new P&O Maritime Logistics. [2]

DMS Maritime owns and/or manages and operates a fleet of more than 550 vessels, including multi purpose vessels, harbour and ocean tugs, torpedo recovery vessels, landing craft, diving launches, workboats and general harbour support vessels of various sizes, a submarine trial support vessel, sailing vessels, an Antarctic survey vessel and rigid hull inflatable boats. MV <i>Oceanic Viking</i>

The MV Oceanic Viking was an armed patrol vessel of the Australian Customs Service. Originally built in 1996 as the offshore supply vessel Viking Lady for Norwegian shipping company Eidesvik Shipping AS, the ship was converted into a cable layer in 2000 and renamed Oceanic Viking. The ship was chartered to the Australian Customs Service through P&O Marine Services from 2004 to 2010. In 2011, it was purchased by A&P Tyne, Isle of Man, and renamed European Supporter.

Sheringham Shoal Offshore Wind Farm is a Round 2 wind farm in North Sea off the coast of Norfolk. A lease for use of the sea bed was obtained in 2004 by Scira Offshore Energy, the development gained offshore planning consent in 2008, and was constructed 2009–2011, being officially opened in 2012.

MV <i>Claymore</i> (1978)

MV Claymore was a car and passenger ferry built in 1978 for Caledonian MacBrayne. For ten years, she operated between Oban and the Outer Isles. Between October 2002 and March 2009, she was the Pentland Ferries relief vessel on the Short Sea Crossing to Orkney. Since March 2009, she has operated, as MV Sia, a RORO cable-laying and supply vessel. During 2022, the vessel was renamed to MV Ocean Link.

Offshore wind power or offshore wind energy is the generation of electricity through wind farms in bodies of water, usually at sea. The Port of Lowestoft is a harbour and commercial port in Lowestoft in the English county of Suffolk owned by Associated British Ports. It is the most easterly harbour in the United Kingdom and has direct sea access to the North Sea. The harbour is made up of two sections divided by a bascule bridge. The inner harbour is formed by Lake Lothing whilst the outer harbour is constructed from breakwaters. Lowestoft handles around 30,000 tonnes of cargo per year.

The holding company was established in 2009 to bring together a number of existing companies including the original Gardline Shipping, first established in 1969 which continues today, focussed on shipping and other maritime services.

RV <i>Cefas Endeavour</i>

RV Cefas Endeavour is an ocean-going fisheries research vessel based at the port of Lowestoft and owned by the Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science (Cefas).

DeepOcean is an Oslo, Norway - based company which provides subsea services to the global offshore industries such as Inspection Maintenance and Repair (IMR), Subsea Construction, Cable Lay, and Subsea Trenching. Its 1,100 employees project manage and operate a fleet of Vessels, ROV's and subsea Trenchers.

HMC Active is a Border Force coastal patrol vessel of the United Kingdom, formerly David, an Autonomous Rescue and Recovery Craft operated by BP. She was built by Holyhead Marine, Holyhead and Delta Marine, Stockport and was operated by BP as a rescue boat aboard a larger offshore support vessels. David was acquired by the UK Border Force in October 2016 and renamed HMC Active.

RFA <i>Proteus</i> Ship of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary

RFA Proteus is a ship of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary operated by the United Kingdom Ministry of Defence. Acquired in 2023, the ship entered drydock at Cammell Laird for modification into a Multi-Role Ocean Surveillance Ship (MROSS).
