The 200 Motels soundtrack to Frank Zappa's film 200 Motels was released by United Artists Records in 1971. Like the film, the album covers a loose storyline about The Mothers of Invention going crazy in the small town of Centerville and bassist Jeff quitting the group, as did his real life counterpart, Jeff Simmons, who left the group before the film began shooting and was replaced by actor Martin Lickert for the film.
Merzbeat is a studio album by the Japanese noise musician Merzbow. It features beats sampled from rock, just like 1998's Aqua Necromancer. However, the beats are more prominent and the noise simpler than earlier albums. "Promotion Man" samples the song of the same name and "I'll Do It All Again" by the 1970s hard rock band Highway Robbery. This is the first album to feature Minazo on the cover along with the reproduction of Azuchi Castle.

The song contains a mixture of cultures, mostly influenced by the language of Fernández, that is Spanish, and Beyoncé's pop and R&B influences. Along with Jaime Flores and Reyli Barba, Beyoncé wrote the song, while Rudy Pérez and Beyoncé herself produced the song. "Amor Gitano" serves as the theme song of the telenovela El Zorro and it was released on February 12, 2007 during the premiere of the episode of the telenovela.

The Lampeter session was engineered by Al Cotton and the line-up consisted of Micky Jones, Deke Leonard, Martin Ace and Terry Williams. The line-up in 2001 consisted of Micky Jones, Deke Leonard, Martin Ace, Bob Richards and Gareth Thorrington.
