Paddy Cunningham is a Gaelic footballer who plays for the Antrim county team [1] and was captain of the team that made it to the 2009 Ulster Senior Football Championship final, Antrim's first since 1970; however they lost out by 1-18 to 0-15 to Tyrone.

He has also played with University of Ulster's Jordanstown campus, during that time, helping them to the Sigerson Cup in 2008. [2]

The 2019 Dr McKenna Cup, known for sponsorship reasons as the Bank of Ireland Dr McKenna Cup, was a Gaelic football competition in the province of Ulster for county and university teams. It was held at the beginning of the GAA season.

Emma Magee is a Northern Ireland netball international and an Antrim ladies' Gaelic footballer. She was a member of the Northern Ireland team at the 2019 Netball World Cup. Her younger sister, Michelle Magee, is also a Northern Ireland netball international and an Antrim ladies' Gaelic footballer.

The 2018 Antrim Senior Football Championship is the 117th official edition of Antrim GAA's premier club gaelic football tournament for senior clubs in County Antrim. 13 teams compete with the winners receiving the Padraig McNamee Cup and representing Antrim in the Ulster Senior Club Football Championship. The Antrim championship has a straight knock-out format.

The Antrim county football team represents Antrim GAA, the county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association, in the Gaelic sport of football.
