Kilmacud Crokes is a large Gaelic Athletic Association club located in Stillorgan, Dublin, Republic of Ireland.
Mark Vaughan is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays for the Kilmacud Crokes club and, formerly, for the Dublin county team. He made his break into the senior Dublin squad in 2005 making his first senior championship start on 19 June against Wexford. He scored two late frees in the Leinster Quarter-Final against Meath to ensure Dublin's win. Mark attended Griffith College Dublin and the Dublin Institute of Technology.
Ray "Cossy" Cosgrove is an Irish Gaelic footballer, born in Dublin. He attended St. Benildus College in Kilmacud. He plays his club football for Kilmacud Crokes and played for the Dublin senior football team between 1996 and 2008. He will be most remembered for his incredible performances in the 2002 scoring an amazing 6–23 in a season which saw Dublin lift their first Leinster title since 1995.
The Dublin Senior Football Championship is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association competition between the top Dublin GAA clubs. The winners of the Dublin Championship qualify to represent their county in the Leinster Senior Club Football Championship, the winners of which progress to the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship. The 2021 Dublin County Champions are Kilmacud Crokes who defeated St Jude's in the final.
Paul Griffin is an Irish Gaelic footballer. He was educated at Oatlands College, Stillorgan, and University College Dublin, where he graduated in Physiotherapy. He plays for club side Kilmacud Crokes and plays left full-back for the Dublin county team, although he started his Dublin career in the half-back line. He has been one of Dublin's most consistent performers since making his Dublin debut in 2004. He has won the Leinster senior football championship with Dublin on two occasions in 2005 and 2006. He was on the Kilmacud Crokes side that won the 2006 Leinster Senior club football championship. He has won the Dublin club football championship with the Crokes on two occasions, 2004 and 2005. Paul Griffin captained Dublin's U-21 football side in 2004. Griffin was nominated for a 2006 all-star award. Griffin was named on the 2006 Dublin Bus/Evening Herald Blue Star football XV at right half-back. He won the 2007 O'Byrne Cup for Dublin against Laois at O'Connor Park in Offaly. The game finished on a scoreline of 1-18 to 2-13 against Laois. In April 2009 he was named by Dublin football manager Pat Gilroy as captain for the 2009 season. He played hurling for Dublin up to minor level but eventually he committed to football.
The 2006 Dublin Senior Football Championship was an edition of an annual Gaelic football competition organized by the Dublin County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association in Ireland. The competition used a modified knockout format. The previous champions in 2005 were Kilmacud Crokes, who were knocked out of the 2006 competition at the semi-final stage. UCD finished the 2006 championship as Dublin champions, by beating St Vincents in the final.

Pat Gilroy is a former Gaelic footballer and manager, who most recently managed the senior Dublin county team (2009-2012). A former Dublin footballer himself, he led Dublin to their first All-Ireland Senior Football Championship title in 16 years in 2011.
Jackie Gilroy was a Gaelic footballer who played for St Vincents and the Dublin county team. He was born in Drumcondra, County Dublin. He won an All-Ireland medal with Dublin in 1963 as part of the Dublin senior football panel. Dublin defeated Galway in the final at Croke Park. Jackie won the All-Ireland Minor Football Championship with Dublin in 1958. Gilroy was the chairman of St Vincents GAA club from 1973 until 1977. He was the club secretary between 1978 and 1979 and then became the Chairman again for the term 1988 to 1989. Jackie spent his working life working in newspaper production. Jackie is the father of former Dublin senior football manager Pat Gilroy.
Dr Dave Geaney is an All-Ireland medal holder. He played in his first All-Ireland final in 1959 at the age of 19 having played schoolboys rugby for Munster earlier in the year. He played in the All-Ireland semi-final in 1962 against Dublin.He played in 3 Munster finals. He was manager of the Castleisland Desmonds Senior team for a good number of years and was trainer when they won the All-Ireland Club title in 1985 when they defeated St. Vincent's (Dublin) in the final on St. Patrick's Day. He was manager for the glory period of Desmonds, and highlights include first North Kerry Senior Football Championship win, Intermediate and club championship wins, two All-Ireland club finals in a row as well as being manager for Desmonds only county final appearance in a county final when they were beaten by eventual All-Ireland Champions, Dr. Crokes. He was also manager of Castleisland District team in the 1979 County final. Geaney was a Kerry GAA medical officer from 1975 to 2012. He was named by new Kerry manager Pat O'Shea as a selector for the 2007 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship. Kerry won the 2007 championship and reached the 2008 final.

He played with the Dublin Junior team, which reached the All-Ireland Junior Football final in 1987 but failed to beat eventual winners Cork. Nugent was Thomas Davis senior football manager until Mick Bolan's appointment in December 2003.

Rory O'Carroll is a footballer and hurler with Dublin and Kilmacud Crokes. He lined out as the full back on the Dublin senior football team. He is the brother of inter-county footballer and hurler Ross O'Carroll, inter-county hurler Bill O’Carroll and Oisin O'Carroll. Rory O'Carroll made his debut for Dublin against Kerry in March 2009.
Shane Dalton is a member of St Vincents GAA Club in Marino Dublin. He originally started his playing career with St Monicas, Edenmore and joined St Vincents at the age of 16. He was a senior dual player for both his club St Vincents and his county Dublin. He played minor, Under 21 and senior in hurling and Gaelic football for Dublin. He was mainly a forward but has also played at midfield. He is one of the last club players in Dublin to achieve honours at championship level in both codes at Minor, Under 21 and Senior level. He is one of the few players that has won adult championships in four decades starting from the 80s, right through to 2010 winning a junior hurling championship. At Inter-County level he started his playing career in 1978 with Dublin Under 13 hurling team and finished playing with the Dublin Masters Gaelic Football team in 2009. In that game in 1978 in an Inter City Schools game when Dublin Under 13s played Cork at Croke Park there were some notable personalities who played on both teams that day. In the hurling game you had former soccer World Cup heroes in Niall Quinn at number 14 and Denis Irwin for Cork in at number 5. Jim Stynes the Australian Rules footballer and Brian Mooney professional footballer with Liverpool playing in the football decider. He played with the Dublin Senior hurlers making his debut against Tipperary in October 1983 with his last game against Westmeath in 1999, winning two Division 2 National League hurling medals in 1989 and 1997 and losing a Leinster final against Offaly in 1990. He played with the Dublin Senior footballers for two years being a sub against Meath in 1991 in one of the most iconic games ever in the GAA. It was the biggest attendance ever for a Championship game that took four games to decide who would advance to the next round in the Leinster Championship.
