Paddy Toland

Paddy Toland is a former Irish kickboxer and kickboxing coach. A former three-time world amateur kickboxing champion, he reportedly retired from the sport in 2013. [1]

From Killea in County Donegal, Toland regularly trained in Derry. [2] As it was difficult to finding sparring partners in Derry and Donegal, he travelled weekly to Waterford.[ citation needed ] Toland, who was a property developer, [2] [3] subsequently opened his own gym. [4] An interim member of the kickboxing "board of control" in Northern Ireland, [5] as of 2009 he was connected to the Irish chapter of the ISKA governing body. [6]

By 2011, he was coaching the then middleweight and light-middleweight kickboxing champion, Tommy McCafferty. [7] He also helped to coach the former ISKA European ladies super flyweight champion, Natalie McCarron, [8] and promoted fights by ISKA world heavyweight champion, Daniel Quigley. [9] In March 2012, Toland was reportedly "voted World Kickboxing Promoter of the Year" by the ISKA. [10] He closed his gym in 2013. [1]

Rob "The Dutchman" Kaman is a Dutch retired 9-time kickboxing and Muay Thai world champion. He is often called "Mr. Low Kick" because of his feared low kicks which he used to set up his devastating offensive attacks.

He competed in MMA holding belts at featherweight in the Chaos Fighting Championships and Immortal Fighting Championships. On August 16, McCafferty fought for the European MMA Promotion Cage Warriors Fighting Championship for the first time against Dean Reilly and won.

Daniel Pinta Quigley is a four time world professional kickboxer from Derry, Northern Ireland. He was coached by the former three time world kickboxing champion Paddy Toland at PT's Kickboxing Gym in Carrigans. He subsequently engaged in training and coaching out of his own gym called Strike Martial arts Academy in Derry City.

Ismail Keta is an Albanian kickboxer who was a three time German champion in 1999 and 2000 in Federation WKA. In 2001 he was proclaimed world champion Under Thaibox. In November 19-11-2011 he won the title of Federation World Champion Iska. In 2012 he won World Champion title again. His last title came in December 7-12-2013 for federation IKBF.

Lukasz Plawecki is a Polish lightweight kickboxer, fighting out of HALNY Nowy Sącz Gym, Poland. He is World Kickboxing Network World Super Welterweight Champion, and the ISKA World Super Middleweight champion.

The 2018 Ulster Senior Football Championship was the 130th instalment of the annual Ulster Senior Football Championship organised by Ulster GAA. It is one of the four provincial competitions of the 2018 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship. The winners receive The Anglo-Celt Cup. The draw for the championship was made on 19 October 2017.

CLG Naomh Columba is a Gaelic football only GAA club based in Gleann Cholm Cille, County Donegal, Ireland. The club fields both men's and ladies' teams from underage as far as senior level. They enjoy an intense rivalry with neighbours, Cill Chartha, although the rivalry has subdued somewhat in the last number of years as the clubs have played in different divisions.

The 2022 season was the 20th season of competitive kickboxing in Romania.

The 2023 Dr McKenna Cup, known for sponsorship reasons as the Bank of Ireland Dr McKenna Cup, was a Gaelic football competition in the province of Ulster for county teams. It took place in January 2023. The group draw took place on 13 December 2022 in Cookstown. The competition was won by Derry, winning their first McKenna Cup since 2011.
