Pago Haini (born 16 December 1991) is an American rugby union player, currently playing for Rugby New York (Ironworkers) in Major League Rugby (MLR). His preferred position is flanker. [1]

Professional career

Haini signed for Major League Rugby side LA Giltinis ahead of the 2021 Major League Rugby season. [2] He had previously represented Houston SaberCats in Major League Rugby and was signed to the New England Free Jacks. Haini has also represented United States Sevens at two competitions. [3]

The LA Giltinis were a Major League Rugby team based in Los Angeles, California, United States. The team was announced in 2020 and entered the league in the 2021 season as an expansion franchise. Owned by Adam Gilchrist and Loyals Rugby, the team was named for a yet-to-be-released drink, itself a portmanteau of "Gilchrist" and "martini". The Giltinis were based in El Segundo, California, and played at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Darren Coleman was their first head coach.
