Pakistan Airways was a short-lived cargo airline based at Jinnah International Airport, Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. The airline was operational from 2005 to 2006, using a single Ilyushin IL-76 cargo aircraft for flights between Pakistan and Dubai.[1] Air Support Technologies Pakistan (AST PAKISTAN ) was the parent company and formed in 2001 in Lahore Pakistan. It was also registered in UAE with offices at and Fujairah International Airport & Dubai International Terminal 2 from 2004 with same name AST PAKISTAN. In May 2006 award 002/2006 License to operate non scheduled international charter flights domestic and International from Pakistan. Successfully operated AN 12 flights on sector Dubai Peshawar Karachi Dubai three times a week. Also operate so many flights UAE to IRAQ for US Army OshKosh Trucks USA Royal Engineers. Also provide Base to Base transport to international force with IL 76 TD and AN 12 Aircraft. The company also operates from Pakistan to Afghanistan for ISAF forces with IL 76 TD in 2008 and 2009 from Dubai to Kabul and many other air-fields as contractual charter. Operated Several Flights in TSUNAMI from UAE Base to Indonesia also provide flights in Pakistan during earth quack, relief flights from different EU countries and UAE to Islamabad by operating IL 76 TD, A300F B707-200 which was leased from First International Airlines Ostend Belgium. The Non Schedule License of AST PAKISTAN AIRWAYS was red tapped when they announced Hajj Flights in 2006 Hajj and booked thousands of people due to low fare with PIA and other carriers. The License was restored and renewed after 8 months. It was again suspended and show cause notice was issued to company when their travel agency License no. 3722/06 Lahore was announced with collaboration of Aero Vista Airlines of UAE to give Cheap Chartered Flights on EID holidays by Aero Vista to Pakistani Labor working in UAE just to relief them. The CAA issued show cause notice to Parent Company that AST PAKISTAN AIRWAYS in 2007. From that time AST PAKISTAN AIRWAYS under suspension and seeking now Superior Pakistani Court to resolve this issue with CAA PAKISTAN. AST PAKISTAN AIRWAYS as a Private Limited Company still providing Cargo Charter Flights worldwide and VIP flights as an authorized representative company on different other Call Signs with aircraft provisions. It is now subsidiary company of Treeland Group of Companies Pakistan.

Sun Way Flight 4412

Sun Way Flight 4412 was an international scheduled cargo flight from Jinnah International Airport in Karachi, Pakistan to Khartoum International Airport in Sudan. On 28 November 2010, the Sun Way Ilyushin Il-76 operating the flight crashed while attempting to go back to Jinnah International Airport after one of the starboard engines caught fire. Twelve people were killed in the crash, including everyone on board the aircraft and four people on the ground.

Moscow Airways was a Russian airline that was formed as a subsidiary of Aeroflot to operate the airline's fleet of Ilyushin Il-62s.

Air Indus

Air Indus was a private airline based in Karachi operating as a domestic airline. The airline's headquarters were located in Defence Housing Authority (DHA), Karachi. Air Indus started operations on 28 July 2013. However, it was forced to suspend operations on 1 July 2015 after the Civil Aviation Authority suspended its operational license for failing to meet safety requirements and fulfilling the Pakistani legal requirements of 3 operating aircraft. Its main base of operations and hub was Jinnah International Airport, Karachi.
