Palak Tiwari (born 8 October 2000) is an Indian actress who primarily works in Hindi films. Born to actors Raja Chaudhary and Shweta Tiwari, she made her acting debut with Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan (2023). Tiwari has since starred in The Bhootnii (2025). [2]

Early life

Tiwari was born on 8 October 2000, [3] in Mumbai to actors Raja Chaudhary and Shweta Tiwari. Her mother filed for a divorce in 2007 after nine years of marriage and her parents' divorce was granted in 2012. [4] She has a half-brother Reyansh, from her mother's second marriage to Abhinav Kohli. [5]

Tiwari graduated with a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Mumbai's Mithibai College. [6]

After working as an assistant director in the 2019 film Antim: The Final Truth , Tiwari started her career with the music videos, "Bijlee Bijlee" opposite Harrdy Sandhu and "Mangta Hai Kya" opposite Aditya Seal. [7]

Tiwari made her screen debut with Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan , where she played one of the three sisters opposite Jassie Gill. [8] A critic of Bollywood Hungama stated that she doesn't have much to do. [9] Ganesh Aaglave of Firstpost noted, "Palak and others play their parts well and their camaraderie adds the laughter punch to the movie." [10] The film failed at the box office. [11]

Following a year hiatus, Tiwari played a college student opposite Sunny Singh in The Bhootnii , her first release of 2025. [12] Sana Farzeen of India Today criticised her "dismissive" act. [13] Dhaval Roy from Times of India stated, "Palak play her part competently, but her character could have been better written." [14] [15] In her next film Romeo S3 , she played an investigative journalist opposite Thakur Anoop Singh. [16] Sushmita Dey from Times Now noted, "Palak makes a notable impression in a performance that balances vulnerability with determination." [17]
