Paloma Susana Valencia Laserna (born 19 January 1978) is a Colombian politician serving as a member of the Senate since 2014. [1] She was a candidate for president of Colombia in the 2018 and 2022 elections, and has expressed interesting in running in the 2026 election. [2] She is the daughter of Ignacio Valencia, the granddaughter of Guillermo León Valencia and Mario Laserna Pinzón, the great-granddaughter of Guillermo Valencia, the niece of Juan Mario Laserna, and the great-niece of Josefina Valencia Muñoz. [3]

During the 2014 legislative elections he was elected with 32,119 votes and in the 2018 legislative elections he obtained 55,615 this being the largest vote for the House of Representatives in the history of the Department of Cesar.

The League of Anti-Corruption Governors is a Colombian political movement, created in October 2019 by the former mayor of Bucaramanga, Rodolfo Hernández Suárez, and by the candidates for the 2020–2023 municipal council.
