Pamela Nisbet is a Canadian/New Zealand North American champion bridge player. She has dual Canadian/New Zealand citizenship and has represented Canada many times in international competition.
Nisbet was born in New Zealand. She is one of six children of William Oswald Adam and Evelyn Mary Guilford. Her father was the oldest of thirteen and left school at 10 and late became a hairdresser and tobacconist.
Nisbet left New Zealand to move to Canada and became a Canadian citizen. She moved back to Dunedin, New Zealand in 2021.
She is divorced and has two grown daughters.

Arch Enemy is a Swedish melodic death metal band, originally a supergroup from Halmstad, formed in 1995. Its members were in bands such as Carcass, Armageddon, Carnage, Mercyful Fate, Spiritual Beggars, The Agonist, Nevermore, and Eucharist. It was founded by Carcass guitarist Michael Amott along with Johan Liiva, who were both originally from the death metal band Carnage. The band has released eleven studio albums, three live albums, three video albums and four EPs. The band was originally fronted by Johan Liiva, who was replaced by German vocalist Angela Gossow in 2000. Gossow left the band in March 2014 to become the group's manager and was replaced by Canadian vocalist Alissa White-Gluz.

The Dalwarnic was the name of a small Canadian-built freighter. She was built in Port Arthur, Ontario in 1921, by Port Arthur Shipbuilding. She was built for the Canadian Government which commissioned her as the Canadian Harvester. She sailed under that name until 1926, when she was acquired by the Canadian Atlantic Transit Company. That is when she acquired the name she was best known by - Dalwarnic.
