Pamela Tola (born 15 October 1981 [1] ) is a Finnish actress and director.
Tola was born in Ruotsinpyhtää, Finland. She has appeared on television since 2003. She appeared in the 2005 film Paha maa (Frozen Land), and starred as the main character in the 2006 film Saippuaprinssi (Soap Prince), both times working with Mikko Leppilampi. In 2008, Tola graduated with MA from the Theatre Academy's Department of Theatre and Drama. In 2018, she directed her first feature film Swingers, followed by Teräsleidit in 2020. [2] [3]
Tola and her film producer husband Pauli Waroma filed for divorce in August 2011. They have two sons together. [4] In 2015 she married actor Lauri Tilkanen with whom she has a son born in 2014. [5] They got divorced in June of 2020
Tola is close friends with actress Pihla Viitala. [6] [7]

Cold Courage is an international crime-drama television series based on Vilpittömästi sinun, which is the first instalment of the Studio book series by Finnish writer Pekka Hiltunen. The book's English translation, Cold Courage, was published in 2013. All eight episodes of the TV series were available on Viaplay from 3 May 2020. It was co-written by David Joss Buckley and Brendan Foley while the directors were Agneta Fagerström Olsson and Kadir Ferati Balci. Most of the series is set in London, with additional scenes in Finland. The main protagonists are two Finnish women living in London: Pihla Viitala as Mari, who leads a clandestine group, The Studio and Sofia Pekkari as Lia, a graphic designer who is recruited by Mari to infiltrate a right wing political party. The movie stars Leena Uotila, Seela Sella, Saara Pakkasvirta, and Heikki Nousiainen, with supporting performances from Pirjo Lonka, Samuli Niittymäki, and Jani Volanen.
