Pammi Somal (born 3 October 1955) is an Indian filmmaker and Bollywood journalist.
Pammi Somal was born 3 October 1955. She studied at Carmel Convent in Chandigarh and earned a Masters in Sociology from Punjab University. After moving to Mumbai, she gained a diploma in Mass Communication & Journalism and another one in Creative Writing. She has a master's degree in Reiki along with a degree in Silva Mind Method and Law of Attraction.
Somal has written for various Bollywood magazines and has served as Assistant Editor with Cine Blitz [1] for many years.
In the 1990s, she started writing scripts for television serials and launched a magazine Cafe Celeb in 2003. After functioning as the CEO of a corporate house and President - Business Development for a Singapore-based media company, she started her own production company, Creative Steps Productions in 2006. [2] Since then, she has produced, written and directed two films, Mummy Punjabi (August 2011) and Na Jaane Kabse (September 2011). [3]

Love Story 2050 is a 2008 Indian Hindi-language science fiction-romance film starring producer Pammi Baweja and director Harry Baweja's son Harman Baweja and Priyanka Chopra. Some parts were filmed in Adelaide, Australia. Initially the film was supposed to release on 21 December 2007 but got postponed to 4 July 2008 due to extensive post-production work. The premiere was held on 2 July 2008 in London. The film draws a lot of similarity to the 1991 Telugu film Aditya 369; while the Telugu film dealt with travel to the past as well as dystopian post-apocalyptic future, Love Story 2050 was exclusively about travelling to a utopian future-city of Mumbai in the year 2050. It is the first utopian time travel film of Bollywood. The movie was released on 4 July 2008 and was a commercial and critical failure, with praise for its special effects, but criticism for its direction, screenplay and Harman Baweja's performance.
Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na is a 2008 Indian Hindi-language coming of age romantic comedy film written and directed by Abbas Tyrewala and produced by Mansoor Khan and Aamir Khan under Aamir Khan Productions, with Ajay K. Bijli and Sanjeev K. Bijli of PVR Pictures acting as co-producers. Marking writer Tyrewala's full-fledged screenwriting and directorial debut, it also marks the debut of Aamir's nephew and lead actor Imran Khan with supporting actor Prateik Babbar, as well as the re-appearance of lead actress Genelia D'Souza and supporting actress Manjari Fadnis in Hindi cinema. The film's soundtrack, composed by A. R. Rahman, received high critical acclaim upon release and also was commercially successful.
Palak Muchhal is an Indian singer and lyricist from Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Abbas Tyrewala is an Indian film screenwriter, lyricist and director. After making his mark as a screenwriter and dialogue writer in the early 2000s, with award-winning films like Maqbool (2003), Munnabhai M.B.B.S. (2003), he made his debut as a director in 2008 with a romantic comedy Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na which turned out to be a critical and commercial hit and also featured an acclaimed soundtrack by A. R. Rahman.
Gulzar is an Indian Urdu poet, lyricist, author, screenwriter, and film director known for his works in Hindi cinema. He is regarded as one of greatest Urdu poets of this era. Dheeraj Kochar, professionally known as Dheeraj Kumar is an Indian actor, television producer and director. He started Creative Eye Limited, a television production house in 1986. Chaar Sahibzaade is a 2014 Indian Punjabi - Hindi 3D computer-animated historical drama film written and directed by Harry Baweja. It is based on the sacrifices of the sons of the 10th Sikh guru Guru Gobind Singh—Sahibzada Ajit Singh, Jujhar Singh, Zorawar Singh, and Fateh Singh. Om Puri provided the film's narration, and the voice artists for various characters were kept anonymous. It was also the highest grossing Punjabi film when it was released. It was surpassed by Carry on Jatta 2 in July 2018.
