Pan Samochodzik
Pan Samochodzik, a.k.a. Tomasz N.N., is an employee of the fictional Department of Artifact Protection in the Polish Ministry of Culture and Art. He is a special envoy with extensive knowledge in the areas of history, riddle-solving, finding treasures and protecting them from thieves. As such, he is sometimes called a Polish version of Robert Langdon, Dirk Pitt or Indiana Jones.
His nickname, Pan Samochodzik (Polish for 'Mr. Automobile'; French (this version also appeared in one of the books): 'Monsieur La Bangnolette'), comes from his unique vehicle: a heavily modified by his uncle Ferrari 410 SuperAmerica (a wreck after a serious car crash on the way to Zakopane; the only thing that remained functional was the engine—Mr Automobile's uncle bought it and installed in his self-constructed vehicle). The car can reach a very high speed and is capable of traversing water and difficult terrain. Many people perceived this vehicle as ugly because of its dubledore-like design.
His other name, Tomasz N.N., comes from the author's real name, Zbigniew Tomasz Nowicki, the second "N" representing his adopted surname, Nienacki.

Pan Samochodzik's nemesis is Waldemar Batura, former art historian, smuggler and thief.
Novels written by authors other than Nienacki feature Jerzy Batura, new villain, son and successor of Waldemar.
Andrzej Pilipiuk, Polish humoristic science-fiction and fantasy author. He debuted in 1996 with short story "Hiena", which featured the first appearance of Jakub Wędrowycz, an alcoholic exorcist. Since that time, Pilipiuk has written several dozen other short stories about that character.

Milionerzy (Millionaires) is a Polish game show based on the original British format of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? The show is hosted by Hubert Urbański. The main goal of the game is to win 1 million Polish złoty by answering twelve multiple-choice questions correctly. There are three classic lifelines – ask the audience, fifty fifty and phone a friend – and also two other lifelines – ask the expert and switch the question. From March to December 2010 contestant could choose risk game, where the second guaranteed sum was not guaranteed. The first version of Milionerzy was broadcast from 3 September 1999 to 26 January 2003, the second version was broadcast from 19 January 2008 to 19 December 2010, and the third version has been broadcast since 9 February 2017. Since 2017, it is shown every Monday to Thursday at 8:50 p.m. or 8:55 p.m. on the Polish commercial television station TVN. The executive producer of the program was Endemol in the first version, Intergalactic in the second version, and Jake Vision in the third version. Since 2008, when a contestant gets the second question correct, they will leave with 1,000 zł. When a contestant gets the seventh question correct, they will leave with 40,000 zł.
The Poland national under-19 speedway team is the national under-19 motorcycle speedway team of Poland and is controlled by the Polish Motor Union (PZM). Film shows how Gorski manage to win the double Iron Man triathlon after years of being drug addict. In this inspirational film we get to know Gorski from the very beginning, at the onset of his addition to drugs. But along with rising action, main character becomes more and more addicted and lose his best friend and soon, a lover. It's during the second half of movie when he decides to change and fight his demons. For his mother, himself, new lover and most important his daughter which was left without mother after his girlfriend died from overdose. However leaving your addiction is much more harder than winning the biggest triathlon...
Polish Legends, also known as Polish Tales, is a Polish-language science fiction and fantasy short film series, produced by Allegro and Platige Image. It was directed by Tomasz Bagiński, and written by Błażej Dzikowski and Dominik L. Marzec. In the production also worked Marcin Kobylecki, Łukasz Alwast, Krzysztof Noworyta, Tobiasz Piątkowski, Jan Pomierny, and Marta Staniszewska. The series include 5 short films, that premiered in 2015 and 2016, on YouTube. It is based on Polish legends and folk tales, including: Sir Twardowski, Wawel Dragon, Basilisk, and Baba Yaga.
