Panda vs. Aliens is a 2021 animated sci-fi film written, directed and starring Sean Patrick O'Reilly, released on April 9, 2021. The film features The Unknowns, which are characters licensed from POW! Entertainment by Stan Lee who also served as executive producer until his death in November 2018. [1]

Plot

A group of aliens seek to conquer new worlds, and take particular notice of Earth, after seeing satellite broadcasts of TV shows of a powerful panda, Pandy.

The film was announced at Comic-Con. [2] Modern Cinema Group signed on to co-finance the film with Stan Lee serving as an executive producer. [3]

It is produced by China's Yisang Media and Los Angeles-Beijing Studios (LABS). [4]

The movie was initially slated to be released in 2019, [5] but eventually was released on April 9, 2021. [6] The film was completed to "honor Stan Lee's final endeavors". [7]

Stan Lee's 'God Woke' is a 2016 graphic novel by former Marvel Comics editor and publisher Stan Lee, using the text of his 1970s epic poem. Comic-book writer Fabian Nicieza created visualizations to match the text, with artwork by his brother Mariano Nicieza and others. It was published by Shatner Singularity, founded by actor and author William Shatner. Samurai Rabbit: The Usagi Chronicles is an animated television series developed by Candie and Doug Langdale. The show is loosely based on the Usagi Yojimbo comic books by Stan Sakai.
