Lingeswaran, known professionally as Pandi, is a comedy actor who has acted in Tamil films and television shows . [2] [3] He played minor roles in a few films before joining television. He is known for his role as "Pandi" in the popular Tamil soap opera Kana Kaanum Kaalangal in Star Vijay and later participated in Jodi Number One season 3. [4] [5] His breakthrough came with Angadi Theru in 2010. [6]

An Ayngaran International production, the film was launched on 11 February 2008 and released on 26 March 2010 to critical acclaim. The film was shortlisted for the Indian submissions for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film but lost to Peepli Live. It released in Telugu as Shopping Mall. Anjali is an Indian actress and model who appears in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada films. Following a stint in modelling, she was cast in starring roles in two Telugu productions; her debut film was the Telugu thriller film Photo (2006). She then bagged a role and gained attention in the film Kattradhu Thamizh (2007) with Jiiva. The film stars Lakshmi Menon, Vikram Prabhu and Singampuli, with Samuthrakani, R.K. Suresh, Vela Ramamoorthy and Sujatha Sivakumar in supporting roles. The music for the film is composed by N. R. Raghunanthan. It was released as a television premiere directly in Sun TV on 15 January 2021 coinciding with Pongal and Vikram Prabhu's birthday. This film marked Lakshmi Menon's comeback film after 4 years hiatus from acting.
