Shiv Sena was a right-wing Marathi regionalist and Hindu ultranationalist political party in India founded in 1966 by Bal Thackeray,who was later succeeded by Uddhav Thackeray. Initially apolitical,the organisation was patronised by the then Chief Minister Vasantrao Naik who used it for curbing trade unions and maintain stranglehold of the Congress. The organisation at the same time carried out pro-Marathi nativist movement in Mumbai in which it agitated for preferential treatment for the Marathi people over migrants from other parts of India.

The Nationalist Congress Party is one of the state parties in India. It refers to the Ajit Pawar faction after the 2023 split in the party when the Supreme Court of India granted the original party name and symbol to the Nationalist Congress Party. It was one of the major political parties in Maharashtra and was a recognised state party in Nagaland and Kerala. In July 2023,majority of the elected MLAs and MLCs of the party led by Ajit Pawar joined the National Democratic Alliance government,however,all MPs except two remained loyal to Sharad Pawar. This caused a direct split between the Ajit Pawar-led faction and the founder and president Sharad Pawar who formed the Nationalist Congress Party after EC recognised the Ajit Pawar faction as the original party.

Wardha District is in the state of Maharashtra in western India. This district is a part of Nagpur Division. The city of Wardha is the administrative headquarter of the district. Hinganghat,Pulgaon,Arvi and Wardha are the major cities in the District. The District had a population of 1,300,774,of which 26.28% were urban as of 2011.

After a 63.38% turnout in the election as hung verdict has occured with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Shivsena (SHS) emerged as largest and second largest parties.

He is BJP sitting member,having been a member of the 12 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly too. Khopde in 2014 was the chief of the Nagpur City BJP. In 2009 he created a major upset defeating 5 time MLA Satish Chaturvedi of the Indian National Congress. Khopde was a corporator in the Nagpur Municipal Corporation and a standing committee chairman. Khopde is a high school dropout.
KirtiKumar Mitesh Bhangdiya better known as Bunty Bhangdiya is a member of the 13th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. He represents the Chimur Assembly Constituency. He belongs to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He was the richest candidate from Vidarbha in the 2014 elections. Bhangdiya was founder and head of "Yuvashakti Sanghatna" a political organisation that held power in the Gadchiroli Zilla Parishad in 2014. In August 2014,Bhangdiya joined the BJP. He was the first BJP candidate to win from Chimur. In 2014 state election he won by margin of 25,155 votes by defeating the Congress candidate. In 2019 he again won from Chimur. He is known to be very close to Devendra Fadnavis. He was amongst the top 10 most working MLAs in Maharashtra.

Balwant Baswant Wankhade is an Indian politician serving as a Member of Parliament,Lok Sabha from Amravati since June 2024. He is a Member of the Indian National Congress from Maharashtra.
Belgaum Vidhana Sabha seat was part of the Karnataka state assembly in India,and part of Belgaum Lok Sabha constituency. The seat ceased to exist after the assembly seats' boundary was redrawn in 2008. Now the city's constituencies are Belgaum Dakshin and Belgaum Uttar.
