Paraggi Castle (Italian : Castello di Paraggi) is a castle located in Paraggi, Liguria, Italy.
The castle was built at the time of the Republic of Genoa to protect the coast of the Tigullio area. Some sources indicate 1626 as the year when its construction was decided. [1] The castle was occupied by Napoleonic forces between 1812 and 1814, at the time of the First French Empire. The structure, which underwent several changes across the centuries, later became a private residence. In the 1990s, the then owners, the Bonomi Bolchini family, rented the property to Silvio Berlusconi. [2]
The castle is located on a small promontory that delimitates the eastern side of the bay of Paraggi, and lies within the comune of Santa Margherita Ligure along the road to Portofino.

Paraggi beach is a fishing location and a popular attraction for tourists because it is the only sandy beach near Portofino. Most beaches in the area are rocky, and Portofino itself has no beaches, only a beautiful harbor. Paraggi is a public beach, but it also features private beach clubs, as do many other beaches on the Riviera. From the beach, one can see the holiday homes of Dolce and Gabbana and Silvio Berlusconi's son, Pier Silvio Berlusconi.

The fort was originally built by the Republic of Genoa, and today it belongs to the Sovereign Military Order of Malta along with the rest of the villa.
Hannibal's Bridge at Rapallo, Italy is one of the oldest structures in the city. This bridge was possibly used by Carthaginian commander Hannibal during his campaign against Rome in the Second Punic War, where he unloaded supplies on the Tigullia coast. The bridge could also be connected to the Battle of Trebbia.
Nozarego is a village in the commune of Santa Margherita Ligure in Liguria, Italy. It is a natural terrace over the Bay of Tigullio. Here there is the church of Santa Maria Assunta with a cobbled square in typical Ligurian style. From Nozarego, there are also several trails leading to the park of Portofino. Nozarego is located on a small road which runs between 2 areas of Santa Margherita. There's a much smaller slip road which comes from outside Nozarego and runs into it as well although there's no link between the 2 streets in Nozarego itself.
