The Paragould Browns (also known as the Rebels and the Scouts) were a minor league baseball team that represented Paragould, Arkansas in the Northeast Arkansas League from 1909 to 1911 and from 1936 to 1941.

The Paragould Meteorite at 41 inches (1,000 mm) by 24 inches (610 mm) by 16 inches (410 mm) and weighing 370 kilograms (820 lb) is the second largest witnessed meteorite fall ever recovered in North America and the largest stony meteorite chondrite. It fell to Earth at approximately 4:08 a.m. on February 17, 1930.

Paragould High School is a public school serving grades nine through twelve located in Paragould, Arkansas. The campus is located at 1701 West Court Street in Paragould and is administered by Paragould School District. Oak Grove High School and Paragould High School consolidated into Ridgecrest High School in 1986 and it was voted to change the nickname to the Rams to accommodate this consolidation. After the 1996–1997 school year, the school's name was changed back to Paragould High School but maintained the Rams as mascot.

The Northeast Arkansas League was the name used by a pair of American minor league baseball leagues. The first of these started operations in 1909 and continued through 1911. The second version began operations for the 1936 season. It continued through the 1941 season.

A second route of 15.31 miles (24.64 km) begins at Highway 163 and runs north through Trumann to Highway 158 at Lunsford. A third route begins at U.S. Route 49/Highway 1 (US 49/AR 1) at the city limits of Paragould and runs north to terminate at US 412B in the city.

Highway 135 is a north–south state highway in northeast Arkansas. The route of 69.67 miles (112.12 km) runs from US Route 63 (US 63) near Tyronza north through Paragould to US 62.
