The Part II Bistro Ladies Classic (formerly the Listowel Women's Classic and the Listowel Women's Cash Spiel) is a bonspiel that is part of the women's Ontario Curling Tour. [1] [2] The event is an annual event held in November and takes place at the Wingham Golf and Curling Club in Wingham, Ontario. Prior to 2018 it was held at the Listowel Curling Club in Listowel, Ontario. [3] The first event was held in 2015, and was sponsored by Libro Credit Union. [4] In its latest season in 2019, it was part of the World Curling Tour.

Rachel Catherine Homan is a Canadian international curler. Homan is a former Canadian junior champion, a three-time Canadian national champion, and the 2017 world champion, all as a skip. She was also the skip of the Canadian women's curling team at the 2018 Winter Olympics.
Tracy Fleury is a Canadian curler from Sudbury, Ontario. She currently skips her own team out of the East St. Paul Curling Club in East St. Paul, Manitoba. She has competed at the Canadian national championship four times and was the Northern Ontario women's junior champion skip from 2005 to 2007.

The Vesta Energy Red Deer Curling Classic is an annual bonspiel, or curling tournament, that takes place at the Red Deer Curling Centre in Red Deer, Alberta. The tournament is held in a triple-knockout format. The men's tournament started in 1992 as a skins tournament. The women's tournament started in 1999 as a separate event held a few weeks earlier and merged with the men's event in 2007. Both are part of the World Curling Tour and have both been held nearly every year since. Curlers from Alberta have dominated the event on both sides since its inception. The event counts toward the Canadian Team Ranking System, which hands out points based on performances at CTRS events and deals with qualification to the Canadian Olympic Curling Trials.

Amanda Gates is a Canadian curler who currently coaches the Kerry Galusha and Abby Deschene rinks on the World Curling Tour. Gates used to play with Team Tracy Fleury and in 2015, Team Horgan became the first women's team in the history of women's curling to represent Northern Ontario at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts. In Gates' first appearance at the Scotties, she won the Marj Mitchell Sportsmanship Award.
