Julie Elaine Doiron is a Canadian singer-songwriter of Acadian heritage. She has been the bass guitarist and co-vocalist for the Canadian indie rock band Eric's Trip since its formation in 1990. She has released ten solo albums, beginning with 1996's Broken Girl, and is also the lead singer for the band Julie and the Wrong Guys.

Formed in Austin, Texas, in 1998, the band takes its name from a short story by Russian author Tatyana Tolstaya set on the river Okkervil in Saint Petersburg. They began as a trio made up of Sheff and friends he had met in his native state of New Hampshire but, over time, have gone through many lineups.

The Cave Singers is an American band from Seattle, Washington. Composed of former members of Pretty Girls Make Graves after its disbandment in 2007, former PGMG-member Derek Fudesco teamed up with Pete Quirk and Marty Lund and began playing in the Seattle area. Soon after the band's conception, The Cave Singers signed with Matador Records on June 11, 2007. The band spent time recording in Vancouver with music engineer Colin Stewart, who quickly produced the band's first full-length LP. The band released the limited edition single 7" "Seeds Of Night" including b side "After The First Baptism" on August 2, 2007. Invitation Songs, the first LP, was released on September 25, 2007 to critical acclaim. The second single, "Dancing On Our Graves", was released on February 25, 2008.

The current lineup is Ruben Rosas, Chris Andrews, Dave Spencer and Brad Fincher. Dan Friel is an American electronic musician based in Brooklyn. Friel was a founding member of Parts & Labor and played with the group until its dissolution in 2012. He began self-releasing solo recordings in 2001, and has since released music on Thrill Jockey Records, Important Records and Night People. In 2005, Friel co-founded Cardboard Records, an independent record label that has released albums by Gowns, Ecstatic Sunshine, Pterodactyl and others. In addition to his own projects, Friel has performed with Tyondai Braxton, Glenn Branca, Damo Suzuki, and Ui. As a solo artist Friel has played or toured with EMA, Fuck Buttons, Dan Deacon, Black Dice, Titus Andronicus, Lightning Bolt, and Dirty Projectors. In 2012, he worked on a string quartet commissioned by the new music ensemble ETHEL. He is currently fronting the band Upper Wilds.
