The Party of Free Citizens leadership election of 2017 was held on 22 January 2017. [1] It was held after the incumbent leader Petr Mach resigned in December 2016. [2] Mach was reelected when he received more than 60% of votes. [3] Voter turnout was about 50%. [4]
Petr Mach is a Czech economist and former Member of the European Parliament. He is the founder of the Party of Free Citizens which he led until 2017 when he was replaced by Tomáš Pajonk.

Svobodní, until 2019 known as the Party of Free Citizens or the Free Citizens' Party, is a classical liberal and right-libertarian, Eurosceptic political party in the Czech Republic founded in 2009 by Petr Mach, an economist and professor of macroeconomics. Before assuming his position as a MEP, Mach taught economics at VŠFS and VŠEM. The party is led by Tomáš Pajonk.
The Civic Democratic Party (ODS) leadership election of 2008 was a part of party's congress. It happened after ODS lost Senate election and regional elections. Incumbent leader and Prime Minister Mirek Topolánek faced Mayor of Prague Pavel Bém who was supported by President Václav Klaus.

A leadership election was held in the TOP 09 party in the Czech Republic on 23 October 2011. Incumbent Karel Schwarzenberg was unopposed. He received 162 of the 169 votes. Schwarzenberg also accepted party's nomination for the 2013 presidential elections.
A leadership election for ANO 2011 was held on 28 February 2017. Incumbent Andrej Babiš was re-elected with 195 of the 206 votes. He was the only candidate. Babiš appreciated that he didn't receive 100% of votes.
The Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia (KSČM) held a leadership election on 19 May 2012. Incumbent leader Vojtěch Filip faced Stanislav Grospič. Potential candidates included Miroslav Grebeníček, Marta Semelová and Jiří Dolejš. Filip was reelected when he received 275 votes from delegates while Grospiš only 168 votes.
The Party of Free Citizens leadership election of 2015 was held on 23 November 2015. The incumbent leader Petr Mach was reelected. 574 members of the party voted. Mach received 2 thirds of votes.
A leadership election for Christian and Democratic Union – Czechoslovak People's Party (KDU-ČSL) was held on 12 November 2005. The incumbent leader Miroslav Kalousek received almost 80% of votes and was reelected. Kalousek didn't have a rival.

Zuzana Roithová and Marian Jurečka were nominated for the position but both of them withdrew from election. Bělobrádek ran unopposed and received 244 of 272 votes.
Alexandra Udženija is a Czech politician of Serbian descent. She studied economics at the University of Economics in Prague (VŠE) and other schools. In 2003 she joined the Civic Democratic Party (ODS) and represented the party in Prague municipal politics. In 2014, she became the deputy leader of ODS.
A leadership election for the Czech Party of Free Citizens was held on 18 November 2017, after the party's unsuccessful results in the legislative election and consequent resignation of the party's leadership. The election was expected to be a two-way contest between Tomáš Pajonk and Jiří Payne, but on 11 November 2017, former leader Petr Mach announced his candidacy. The results were announced on 19 November 2017, with Pajonk defeating Mach by a large margin.
The Czech Pirate Party leadership election of 2018 was held on 6 January 2018. It will be held after successful 2017 legislative election. The incumbent leader Ivan Bartoš ran for another term. Bartoš was the only candidate and was reelected by winning 276 votes. Only 17 members voted against him.
A leadership election for the Freedom Union (US) was held in the Czech Republic on 28 February 2000. Karel Kühnl was elected the new leader of the Freedom Union.
The Czech Pirate Party leadership election of 2012 was held on 25 August 2012. Ivan Bartoš was reelected when he defeated Petr Bajgar. Bajgar was nominated by South Moravian Piraret.
A leadership election for the Czech Social Democratic Party (ČSSD) was held on 1 March 2019. The incumbent leader Jan Hamáček was elected for second term when he received 433 votes while 57 delegates voted against him and 11 abstained.
