The Party of Free Citizens leadership election of 2017 was held on 22 January 2017. [1] It was held after the incumbent leader Petr Mach resigned in December 2016. [2] Mach was reelected when he received more than 60% of votes. [3] Voter turnout was about 50%. [4]

Petr Mach Czech economist

Petr Mach is a Czech economist and former Member of the European Parliament. He is the founder of the Party of Free Citizens which he led until 2017 when he was replaced by Tomáš Pajonk.

Alexandra Udženija politician

Alexandra Udženija is a Czech politician of Serbian descent. She studied economics at the University of Economics in Prague (VŠE) and other schools. In 2003 she joined the Civic Democratic Party (ODS) and represented the party in Prague municipal politics. In 2014, she became the deputy leader of ODS.

November 2017 Party of Free Citizens leadership election

A leadership election for the Czech Party of Free Citizens was held on 18 November 2017, after the party's unsuccessful results in the legislative election and consequent resignation of the party's leadership. The election was expected to be a two-way contest between Tomáš Pajonk and Jiří Payne, but on 11 November 2017, former leader Petr Mach announced his candidacy. The results were announced on 19 November 2017, with Pajonk defeating Mach by a large margin.

2018 Czech Pirate Party leadership election

The Czech Pirate Party leadership election of 2018 was held on 6 January 2018. It will be held after successful 2017 legislative election. The incumbent leader Ivan Bartoš ran for another term. Bartoš was the only candidate and was reelected by winning 276 votes. Only 17 members voted against him.

A leadership election for the Freedom Union (US) was held in the Czech Republic on 28 February 2000. Karel Kühnl was elected the new leader of the Freedom Union.

The Czech Pirate Party leadership election of 2012 was held on 25 August 2012. Ivan Bartoš was reelected when he defeated Petr Bajgar. Bajgar was nominated by South Moravian Piraret.

2019 Czech Social Democratic Party leadership election

A leadership election for the Czech Social Democratic Party (ČSSD) was held on 1 March 2019. The incumbent leader Jan Hamáček was elected for second term when he received 433 votes while 57 delegates voted against him and 11 abstained.
