Pascal Matla (born February 4, 1981) is a former American football player.

Career

Matla grew up in Voorburg, Netherlands. As a youth, he attended a media day for the Amsterdam Admirals and had the opportunity to meet some of the players. Matla later recalled, "One of the players told me I was a big kid and told me I should play. So I went home and started looking for information on where to play." [1] At age 17, he joined a club in Zoetermeer that was part of a flag football league. At age 18, he joined the full-contact division, and at age 19, he played football in Saarland, Germany. He traveled to Tampa, Florida to play with 36 European players in an exhibition game before the Super Bowl. While in Tampa, he learned of college football, and a tape of the Europeans' game was seen by the offensive line coach for Eastern Illinois University. He was offered a scholarship and enrolled at the school. [1] Matla joined the Eastern Illinois football team in the summer of 2001 for workouts and drills and played for the team from 2002 to 2005 and was selected as a second-team All-Ohio Valley Conference player in 2004. [2] [3] Matla attended training camp with the New Orleans Saints in the summer of 2006, but was released before the regular season began. He played for the Amsterdam Admirals of the NFL Europa in 2007. [2] [4] [5]

Harold E. "Butch" Woolfolk is a former American football running back and kick returner who played in college for the University of Michigan (1978–1981) and in the National Football League (NFL) for the New York Giants (1982–1984), Houston Oilers (1985–1986) and Detroit Lions (1987–1988). Woolfolk attended Westfield Senior High School in Westfield, New Jersey. Woolfolk led Michigan in rushing three straight years and set the school record with 3,850 rushing yards while playing for the Wolverines from 1978 to 1981. As a sophomore in 1979, he was the Big Ten Conference scoring champion, and he went on to become a three-time first-team All-Big Ten selection. He had his best season as a senior at Michigan, winning the 1981 Big Ten rushing title and falling just 10 yards short of Rob Lytle's single-season rushing yards record. He was also selected in 1981 as the Most Valuable Player of both the Rose Bowl played January 1, 1981, and the Bluebonnet Bowl played December 31, 1981, as well as the Wolverines' team MVP for the season.

Ralph Anson Kohl was an American football player, coach and scout. He played at the tackle position on the University of Michigan's undefeated 1947 and 1948 football teams. He signed to play with the Baltimore Colts, but a knee injury prevented him from playing in the NFL. He was an assistant football coach at Eastern Michigan University (1952–1954) and a head coach at Franklin College (1955–1956) and Eastern Illinois University (1957–1964). From 1964 until his retirement in 1993, Kohl worked as a professional football scout. He was considered the top scout in the BLESTO NFL scouting combine in the 1960s and 1970s and served as the head scout for the Minnesota Vikings for two decades.

Baxley was also a member of the Amsterdam Admirals and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
