The Argentina national rugby union team represents the Argentine Rugby Union in men's international rugby union. Officially nicknamed Los Pumas, they play in sky blue and white jerseys. They are ranked 7th in the world by World Rugby, making them by some distance the highest-ranked nation in the Americas.
Schalk Willem Petrus Burger Jr. is a South African former professional rugby union player. He played as a flanker for Saracens in the English Premiership and has won 86 caps for South Africa.
Hirotoki Onozawa is a rugby union player who plays at Wing or occasionally Fullback for Canon Eagles. He previously played for Suntory Sungoliath and the Japan national rugby union team. Nicknamed "the eel" for his sharp sidestepping ability, Onozawa is the second most capped Japanese rugby player of all time, and fifth highest try scorer in international rugby. Despite spending much of his career in the shadow of Daisuke Ohata he is considered an all-time great of Japanese rugby in his own right.
Agustín Pichot is an Argentine retired rugby union player, formerly captain of the Argentine team and the English club Bristol. In addition to Bristol, he played for French sides Stade Français and Racing Métro after leaving Argentine team CASI from San Isidro in 1997. In 2011, he was inducted into the IRB Hall of Fame. He was Vice-Chairman of World Rugby between 2016 and 2020.
Christopher Raymond Jack is a former New Zealand rugby union player who played as a lock. He played for Canterbury and the Tasman Mako in the National Provincial Championship and its successor, the Air New Zealand Cup; the Crusaders in Super Rugby; Saracens in the Guinness Premiership; and internationally for the New Zealand national team, the All Blacks.
John William Smit, OIS, is a South African former professional rugby union player and former chief executive officer of the Sharks. He was the 50th captain of the Springbok rugby union team and led the team to win the 2007 Rugby World Cup. He played most of his senior career as a hooker, but also won 13 caps as a prop, where he had also played for South Africa's under-21 team. He retired from international rugby following the 2011 Rugby World Cup as the most-capped South African player ever, with 111 appearances.

Adam Ashley-Cooper is a former Australian rugby union player who last played for the LA Giltinis of Major League Rugby (MLR). He has won 121 caps for Australia, the third most of any Australia player at the time of his retirement. His nickname is "Mr. Versatile". He is currently the senior assistant coach for backs with the LA Giltinis.
Daniel Joseph Vickerman was a professional rugby union player. The 204 cm, 119 kg lock played 63 Tests with the Wallabies, the national team of his adopted country of Australia. After seven seasons with the Wallabies, and having played Super Rugby for the New South Wales Waratahs and ACT Brumbies, Vickerman left his successful international rugby career in 2008. He attended the University of Cambridge, where he read a degree in Land Economy at Hughes Hall. While in England, he played rugby for Cambridge University and Northampton Saints. In 2011, he returned to Australia and played again for the Wallabies, including at the 2011 Rugby World Cup, before he retired from the game.

Emile Wessels is a rugby union player who plays for Namibia. Wessels plays as a fly-half, specialising in kicking. He made his international debut in October 2002 in a friendly match against Tunisia. He played four matches at the 2003 Rugby World Cup finals and two matches the 2007 Rugby World Cup finals. Wessels was born in Windhoek.

Ryan Smith is a former Canadian rugby union player, who played club football for French team US Montauban in the Top 14 division and represented Canada at international level. Smith's first appearance for the national side was on June 14, 2003, in a match against England Saxons. Smith played 51 times for Canada, scoring 9 tries, and appeared in the 2003 and 2007 and most recently the earning his 51st cap. World Cups. On December 1, 2011, Ryan Smith announced his retirement from all levels of rugby.
Sisaro Dautu Koyamaibole is a Fijian rugby union player. His usual position is at number eight. Koyamaibole also plays for Fiji, including playing in the 2003 Rugby World Cup, the 2007 Rugby World Cup and the 2011 Rugby World Cup, and has played for the Fiji Sevens in rugby sevens tournaments. At club level, he has represented Taranaki, Petrarca Padova, Toulon, Sale Sharks, Lyon OU, Bordeaux Bègles and currently plays for Brive.

Shawn Pittman is an American rugby union coach and former player. Pittman played prop for Old Puget Sound Beach and the United States Eagles. He played in the 2011 Rugby World Cup. He is currently the head coach of the Utah Warriors in Major League Rugby (MLR).
Patrick Danahy is a former American rugby union player. Danahy played both the lock and flanker positions. He currently plays for the Mosman Whales in NSW, Australia. He was selected to tour with the USA national rugby union team, the USA Eagles XV, for the Autumn 2010 tour of Europe. Patrick's debut game for his country was at the U21 level on 21 June 2007 against Canada, only six months after he first stepped onto the rugby pitch at his alma mater of Stanford University. He earned a spot on the 30 man roster for the 2011 Rugby World Cup. Though he was forced to sit out the first final following a third yellow card in the competition, Danahy and the Mosman Whales won the 2016 and 2019 Kentwell Cups in the NSW Suburban Rugby competition during his tenure as captain.
The 2019 Rugby World Cup was an international rugby union tournament which was held in Japan from 20 September until 2 November 2019. Twenty national teams competed, and each brought a 31-man squad containing no regulated number of players per-position to the tournament. The tournament was administered by World Rugby, to whom each team submitted their finalised squad by 8 September 2019. A player may be replaced for medical or compassionate reasons, but would be unable to return to the squad. Any replacement player has an enforced stand-down period of 48 hours before they can take the field.
Nick Trenkel was a Canadian rugby union player. His playing position was centre. He was named in the Canada squad for the 2007 Rugby World Cup, making his one and only international appearance in the tournament. His match came against Australia, coming on as a replacement. Following the World Cup, he joined French side Narbonne making one appearance.
