Utah Lake State Park is a state park in west Provo, Utah, United States. The park is located at the west end of Provo Center Street on the east shore of Utah Lake immediately northwest of the Provo Municipal Airport.
The Huron–Manistee National Forests are two separate national forests, the Huron National Forest and the Manistee National Forest, combined in 1945 for administration purposes and which comprise 978,906 acres (3,960 km2) of public lands, including 5,786 acres (23 km2) of wetlands, extending across the northern lower peninsula of Michigan. The Huron–Manistee National Forests provide recreation opportunities for visitors, habitat for fish and wildlife, and resources for local industry. The headquarters for the forests is in Cadillac, Michigan.
Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is a United States National Lakeshore located along the northwest coast of the Lower Peninsula of Michigan in Leelanau and Benzie counties near Empire, Michigan. The park covers a 35-mile-long (56 km) stretch of Lake Michigan's eastern coastline, as well as North and South Manitou islands. This Northern Michigan park was established primarily because of its outstanding natural features, including forests, beaches, dune formations, and ancient glacial phenomena. The lakeshore also contains many cultural features including the 1871 South Manitou Island Lighthouse, three former stations of the Coast Guard and an extensive rural historic farm district. In 2011, the area won the title of "The Most Beautiful Place in America" from Good Morning America. In 2014, a section of the park was named the Sleeping Bear Dunes Wilderness by the United States Congress.
The Chequamegon–Nicolet National Forest is a 1,530,647-acre (6,194.31 km2) U.S. National Forest in northern Wisconsin in the United States. Much of the old growth forest in this region was destroyed by logging in the early part of the 20th century. Some of the trees that grow there today were planted by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s. The national forest lands contain trees and vegetation corresponding to the North Woods Ecoregion that is prevalent throughout the upper Great Lakes region.
Palomar Mountain is a mountain ridge in the Peninsular Ranges in northern San Diego County. It is famous as the location of the Palomar Observatory and Hale Telescope, and known for the Palomar Mountain State Park.
The Irish Hills is an area of land located roughly in southeastern Jackson County and northwest Lenawee County in Southeast Michigan. Its name comes from the Irish immigrants who settled there from 1830 until 1850. It is known throughout the state for its scenery, especially in the summer, with its hills and larger kettle lakes surrounding the 654-acre (2.65 km2) Hayes State Park. It is also known for its chain of smaller kettle lakes along US Highway 12 that link to Cambridge Junction Historic State Park which adjoins the Michigan International Speedway.

It is bounded on the north by Holiday Ranch RV Park, which borders the Polk-Highlands County line, on the east by Adelaide Shores RV Resort and on the west by the Avon Park Lakes residential subdivision. Lake Adelaide is two miles (3 km) north of the town of Avon Park, Florida.
Foster Reservoir is a reservoir created by Foster Dam on the South Santiam River in the city of Foster, Oregon, United States. The reservoir is approximately 5.6 km (3.5 mi) long and covers approximately 494 ha when full. Primary use of the reservoir is recreation in the summer and flood control in the winter and spring.
South Higgins Lake State Park is a public recreation area covering 1,000 acres (400 ha) on the southern shore of Higgins Lake five miles southwest of Roscommon in Roscommon County, Michigan. The state park occupies one mile of shoreline on Higgins Lake and entirely surrounds Marl Lake and portions of the Cut River.

It is approximately 93 km long, and 3 km wide at its widest point.

Elinor Bedell State Park is a state park of Iowa, United States. It is located on the east shore of East Okoboji Lake and represents one of the last remaining open spaces on the Iowa Great Lakes. The 80-acre (32 ha) park was a gift of former U.S. Congressman Berkley Bedell and his wife Elinor.
Governor Thompson State Park is a 2,800-acre (1,133 ha) state park in Wisconsin, USA, in development approximately 15 miles (24 km) northwest of Crivitz. The park contains 6.5 miles (10.5 km) of shoreline on the Caldron Falls Reservoir, part of the Peshtigo River, and 5,300 feet (1,600 m) of shoreline on two small kettle lakes. Adjacent lands are part of the Peshtigo River State Forest. The park was created in 2000, the centennial year of the Wisconsin state park system, and named after then-Governor Tommy Thompson. The main parcel creating the park is the former 1,987-acre (8.04 km2) Paust Woods Lake Resort and about 200 acres (0.81 km2) of wild-looking lakefront bought from Wisconsin Public Service Corporation on Caldron Falls Reservoir.

Beaver Dunes Park is in Beaver County, Oklahoma, near the city of Beaver. The 520-acre (2.1 km2) park, located in the panhandle region of Oklahoma, offers dune buggy riding on 300 acres (1.2 km2) of sand hills, fishing, hiking trails, a playground and two campgrounds. Hackberry Bend Campground is located next to Beaver Lake, approximately 2 acres (8,100 m2), stocked with largemouth bass, channel catfish, and perch, and has 7 RV sites and 10 tent sites. Also located in Hackberry Bend is a one-room primitive cabin which sleeps four and can be reserved. Pioneer Campground is located adjacent to the ORV area. This campground has 13 RV sites with direct access to the dunes. Both campgrounds have a comfort station with hot showers. Dump station located at Hackberry Bend Campground. Both campgrounds have handicap accessibility. Another area of the park is Big Sandy picnic area. This area has a sand volleyball court, basketball goal, horseshoe pits, playground, nature trail, and two reservable shelters.
