Patricia A. Noland (born December 30,1945) is an American politician who served in the Arizona House of Representatives from the 13th district from 1989 to 1993 and in the Arizona Senate from the 13th district from 1993 to 1997. [1] [2] A Republican,she lived in Tucson and represented Pima County. [3] In addition to her time in the Arizona House of Representatives (1989–1993) and Arizona Senate (1993–1997),Patricia Noland also served as the Pima County Superior Court clerk. Her involvement in Arizona politics spanned multiple roles and reflected her ongoing contributions to her community. She was known for her active participation in state legislation as a member of the Republican Party. Previously,Patricia Noland served as both the town manager and town clerk for Oro Valley,Arizona,from 1982 to 1983. This was before she went on to hold office in the Arizona House of Representatives and Senate. In 1964,Castro was selected to be U.S. Ambassador to El Salvador,a position he held until 1968 when he was appointed U.S. Ambassador to Bolivia. He was involved in numerous interests,including mercantile,real estate,banking,mining,and cattle. He served as the Senior Clerk for the U.S. District Court in Arizona during the term of William H. Sawtelle,served two terms on the Tucson City Council,and five consecutive terms on the Tucson Board of Education,as well as being on both the Tucson and Phoenix chambers of commerce. He also served a single term in the Arizona state senate during the 2nd Arizona State Legislature. Two books were written about his life,Ridin' the Rainbow,and Chicken Every Sunday,the latter being made into a Broadway play,as well as a motion picture of the same name.

He was known as a philanthropist,particularly to the Methodist Episcopal Church in Tucson,Arizona. Outside of politics he was a highly successful real-estate man.
