Patrick James Wood (born 16 September 2002) is an Australian professional soccer player who plays as a striker for A-League club Sydney FC.
Wood played youth soccer with Collaroy Cromer Strikers, Manly United and Sydney FC Youth before starting his professional career with Sydney FC.
Wood attended St Paul's College, Manly. [2]
Wood was called up to Sydney FC's senior squad for the 2020 AFC Champions League. [3] He made his unofficial first-team debut ahead of the tournament in a match against the Australian under-23 team in November 2020. [4]
Wood made his A-League debut against Wellington Phoenix on 2 January, coming off the bench at the 82nd minute mark. [5] On 30 January, Wood scored his first A-League goals, the first coming after being on the pitch for 6 minutes, steering his side to a 3–0 victory against Macarthur FC. [6]
Wood was called up to an Australian under-20 national team camp in 2020. [3]
In October 2021, Wood was called up to the Australian under-23 team for 2022 AFC U-23 Asian Cup qualification matches against Indonesia in Tajikistan. [7] He made his debut for the side on 26 October 2021, missing an early penalty kick before later scoring Australia's second goal in a 3–2 win. [8] Wood scored again in the second leg three days later, the only goal in a 1–0 win to secure qualification for the final tournament. [9]
In May 2022, Wood was included in the Australian under-23 squad for the 2022 AFC U-23 Asian Cup. [10]

Mark Daniel Milligan is an Australian former professional footballer. Starting his career as a defender, Milligan has spent much of his later career playing as a midfielder. He is currently a football expert commentary and analysis at 10 Sport. He is currently an assistant coach for A-League Men club Adelaide United.
Graham James Arnold is an Australian soccer manager and former player. Arnold was first appointed to work as a head coach of the Australian national soccer team in 2000. After head coach Frank Farina was sacked in 2005, Arnold worked with Guus Hiddink for the 2006 FIFA World Cup campaign, in which they made the second round of the finals. After Hiddink left, he became interim coach of the Socceroos. Arnold went on to qualify Australia's U23 men's national soccer team for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Arnold then went on to assist Pim Verbeek for qualification of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. Arnold's next move was to take the manager role at struggling A-League club the Central Coast Mariners between 2010 and 2013, where he guided the club to a Premiership and a Championship. He is a member of the Football Federation Australia Football Hall of Fame. Arnold went on to win two Premierships, one Championship and an FFA Cup with Sydney FC. In August 2018, Arnold was appointed head coach of the Socceroos - Australia's senior men's national soccer team.
Nikolai David Topor-Stanley is an Australian former soccer player who played as a centre back. He played for A-League clubs Sydney FC, Perth Glory, Newcastle Jets, Western Sydney Wanderers and Western United. He has also played in international squads, the Olyroos and Socceroos, for Australia.
Patrick Zwaanswijk is a Dutch ex-professional who is retired from professional football. A product of the Ajax Youth Academy, Zwaanswijk retired from professional football in 2013 following a successful career with Ajax FC, FC Utrecht, Oita Trinita, NAC Breda and Central Coast Mariners FC. He has played predominantly as a central defender throughout his career. After his career he played for and captained Southern & Ettalong United in Australia's Central Coast Premier League and Terrigal United. He is married to Leah Maree Zwaanswijk and has two children from his first marriage. He lives in Australia, North Avoca since 2015.
