Hockey Club Sparta Praha, commonly known as HC Sparta Prague, is a Prague-based Czech professional ice hockey team playing in the Czech Extraliga. The club has won four Czech championships (most recently in 2007) and four Czechoslovak championships, as well as two Spengler Cups, making it one of the most successful hockey clubs in Czech history. The team HC Sparta Praha plays its home games at O2 Arena, the largest arena in the country.
Štefan Ružička is a Slovak former professional ice hockey forward who last played under contract with HC Sparta Praha of the Czech Extraliga (ELH). He formerly played in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Philadelphia Flyers and in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) where he is the All-time leading scorer for HC Spartak Moscow.
Jaroslav Hlinka is a Czech former professional ice hockey forward who played in the National Hockey League for the Colorado Avalanche. He is currently the Sports manager for his longtime club, HC Sparta Praha of the Czech Extraliga.

Petr Vrána is a Czech professional ice hockey centre who currently plays for HC Oceláři Třinec of the Czech Extraliga (ELH). Selected by the New Jersey Devils in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, he played 16 games in the National Hockey League with the Devils during the 2008–09 season. Vrána also spent four seasons in the Kontinental Hockey League. Internationally Vrána has played for the Czech national team at the junior and senior level, including at two World Championships.
Juraj Mikuš is a Slovak professional ice hockey defenceman currently playing for HC Vítkovice Ridera of the Czech Extraliga (ELH). Mikuš was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the fifth round of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft from HC Dukla Trenčín of Slovak Extraliga.
HC Olomouc is an ice hockey team in the Czech Extraliga from Olomouc. They won the Extraliga championship in the 1993/1994 season. In 1997, the club sold the Extraliga license to HC Karlovy Vary, and was thus relegated to the second-level league. They returned to the Extraliga in 2014.
