'Patrudu, is a social community or caste found mostly in the south Indian state Andhra Pradesh. The Patrulu population is distributed mostly in the coastal city areas of Andhra Pradesh like Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Anakapalle, Vizianagaram etc.

Patrudu are community which took to town life and separated itself off from the parent stock. The caste title is Patrudu means Praiseworthy/Lord.

Operation Dezful

The Operation Dezful was fought in early stage of the Iran–Iraq War on October 15, 1980 as Iranian tank brigades from the 16th Qazvin, 77th Khorasan, and 92nd Khuzestan armoured divisions attacked Iraqi positions. The Iranian Army's aim was to stop Iraqis progress in Iranian territories and to push them back, or stall their progress. However, Iraqi forces counterattacked from the flanks, and repulsed the Iranian forces. The Iranian retreat was blamed on poor decision making, the purge of army commanders due to their participation in Nojeh coup plot, and underestimating fire power of Iraqi forces and they were forced to retreat to the eastern shores of Karkheh River west of Dezful.

Yashwant Bhimrao Ambedkar, also known as Bhaiyasaheb Ambedkar, was an Indian socio-religious activist, newspaper editor, politician, and activist of Ambedkarite Buddhist movement. He was the first and only surviving child of Ramabai Ambedkar and Babasaheb Ambedkar, Indian polymath, human rights activist, and the father of the Constitution of India. Yashwant gave himself up for the Buddhism work after the demise of father and kept pace with the work of B. R. Ambedkar's social equality. He tried to keep the Ambedkarite community united and also took an active part in the Dalit Buddhist movement.
