Paul Barden (born August 29,1936) is an American politician who served as a member of the King County Council from 1974 to 1994. A member of the Republican Party,he represented the 7th district. [1] [2]
Camel are an English progressive rock band formed in Guildford,Surrey,in 1971. Led by guitarist Andrew Latimer,they have released fourteen studio albums and fourteen singles,plus numerous live albums and DVDs. Without achieving mass popularity,the band gained a cult following in the 1970s with albums such as Mirage (1974) and The Snow Goose (1975). They moved into a jazzier,more commercial direction in the early 1980s,but then went on an extended hiatus. Since 1991 the band has been independent,releasing albums on their own label.
Michael Schenker is a German guitarist. He played in the rock band UFO and leads the Michael Schenker Group. He was an early member of the hard rock band Scorpions,a band co-founded by his elder brother Rudolf Schenker. In the mid-1970s,Schenker joined UFO,playing lead and rhythm guitar. He left the band in 1978 to found the Michael Schenker Group. He has rejoined UFO three times,producing an album each time. Schenker continues to perform and record. He has been called "a legendary figure in the history of metal guitar."
Leonard William Barden is an English chess master,writer,broadcaster,journalist,organizer and promoter. The son of a dustman,he was educated at Whitgift School,South Croydon,and Balliol College,Oxford,where he read modern history. He learned to play chess at age 13 while in a school shelter during a World War II German air raid. Within a few years he became one of the country's leading juniors. He represented England in four Chess Olympiads. Barden played a major role in the rise of English chess from the 1970s. He is a chess columnist for various newspapers. His column in London's Evening Standard is the world's longest-running daily chess column by the same author.
Peter Bardens was an English keyboardist and a founding member of the British progressive rock group Camel. He played keyboards,sang,and wrote songs with Andrew Latimer. During his career,Bardens worked alongside Rod Stewart,Peter Green,Mick Fleetwood and Van Morrison. He recorded eleven solo albums.
The Michael Schenker Group are a guitar-oriented hard rock band,formed in London in 1979 by former Scorpions and UFO guitarist Michael Schenker. In 1986,Schenker and vocalist Robin McAuley formed the McAuley Schenker Group,which lasted until 1993. Afterwards,in 1996,the Michael Schenker Group was reformed. After the release of their second live album,1984's Rock Will Never Die,its members began to have serious discussions that caused a two-year hiatus,and Michael ended the band in 1986.

Paul Barden is a former Gaelic footballer who played at senior level for the Longford county team from October 1998 until February 2015 when he announced his retirement. He was the longest serving inter-county player in the country until his retirement. He won an O'Byrne Cup medal with them in 2000,he also won 2 O'Byrne Shield medals in 2006 and 2007. He was also a member of the Ireland international rules football team in 2002 and 2006. He also won a Railway Cup with Leinster in 2001 and 2002. In 2011,he helped Longford overcome Roscommon in the National Football League Div 4 final at Croke Park. In 2012,Longford were back at Croke Park,this time for the Division 3 final and again won beating Wexford with Barden once again captain.
Clonguish GAA is a Gaelic football and hurling club in Newtownforbes,County Longford,Ireland. The club was formed on 20 October 1889 and was originally called Clonguish Gallowglasses. Situated in the west of Co. Longford,it is bordered by four parishes in Co. The 2022 Maine gubernatorial election took place on November 8,2022,to elect the governor of Maine. Incumbent Democratic governor Janet Mills won re-election to a second term. Mills faced no primary opposition. The only Republican to file to run for the GOP nomination was former governor Paul LePage. An independent candidate,Sam Hunkler,received 2% of the vote,the lowest total for a third party or independent candidate since 1982. This was also the first gubernatorial election in Maine since 1990 in which the winner was from the same party as the incumbent president. With over 376,000 votes,Mills won more votes than any other gubernatorial candidate in Maine history,breaking her own record set four years earlier. Mills's 13 point margin of victory was the largest for a statewide Democratic candidate since George J. Mitchell won over 80% of the vote in the 1988 United States Senate election.
