British Transport Police is a national special police force that polices the railway network of England,Wales and Scotland. The force polices more than 10,000 miles of track and more than 3,000 stations and depots.
General John Nicholas Reynolds Houghton,Baron Houghton of Richmond,is a retired senior British Army officer and former Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) of the British Armed Forces. There were no recipients of the Royal Victorian Order and only two recipients in the military division of the Order of the British Empire.
