Paul Hector Provandie (1875-1931) was an American physician and politician,who served as the mayor of Melrose,Massachusetts.
Paul Revere was an American silversmith,engraver,early industrialist,Sons of Liberty member,and Patriot. He is best known for his midnight ride to alert the colonial militia in April 1775 to the approach of British forces before the battles of Lexington and Concord,as dramatized in Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's 1861 poem,"Paul Revere's Ride".

King's Chapel is an American independent Christian unitarian congregation affiliated with the Unitarian Universalist Association that is "unitarian Christian in theology,Anglican in worship,and congregational in governance." It is housed in what was for a time after the Revolution called the "Stone Chapel",an 18th-century structure at the corner of Tremont Street and School Street in Boston,Massachusetts. The chapel building,completed in 1754,is one of the finest designs of the noted colonial architect Peter Harrison,and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1960 for its architectural significance. The congregation has worshipped according to a Unitarian version of the Book of Common Prayer since 1785,currently in its ninth edition.

Paul Charles Zamecnik was an American scientist who played a central role in the early history of molecular biology. He was a professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School and a senior scientist at Massachusetts General Hospital. Zamecnik pioneered the in vitro synthesis of proteins and helped elucidate the way cells generate proteins. With Mahlon Hoagland he co-discovered transfer RNA (tRNA). Through his later work,he is credited as the inventor of antisense therapeutics. Throughout his career,Zamecnik earned over a dozen US patents for his therapeutic techniques. Up until his death in 2009 he maintained a lab at MGH where he studied the application of synthetic oligonucleotides for chemotherapeutic treatment of drug resistant and XDR tuberculosis in his later years.
George Martin Lott was an American tennis player and tennis coach who was born in Springfield,Illinois,United States. Lott is mostly remembered as being one of the greatest doubles players of all time. He won the U.S. title five times with three different partners:John Hennessey in 1928;John Doeg in 1929 and 1930;and Les Stoefen in 1933 and 1934. At the U. S. championships singles in 1928,Lott beat Christian Boussus and John Doeg before losing to Frank Hunter in the semifinals. In 1931 Lott beat defending champion Doeg in the semi finals before losing to Ellsworth Vines in the final. In 1934 Lott became a touring professional,thereby giving up his amateur status and the ability to play in Grand Slam tournaments. In 1929 and 1930 he was ranked World No. 6 and No. 7 by A Wallis Myers;No. 6 by Pierre Gillon in 1930;and in 1931 was ranked No. 4 by Züricher Sport.
